I don't know if I mentioned it before, but my (idiot) mate decided to film our ride on Stealth with his brand new iPhone 5 (it was new then haha) and fumbled and dropped it from the top just before the plunge... afterwards, we could see it through the railings and he asked someone who worked there if he could have permission to climb over and get it, she said 'I can't really let you do that but if you think you can climb the railings then go for it', so he did (agile mf). It was all long grass under the ride and amazingly the phone was in perfect condition! Unbelievable. Two days later he was walking down the road texting and accidentally shoulder-barged a lamppost and he dropped his phone just 3 feet to the ground. Smashed. :D Another awesome video dude, top quality! Ps keep an eye out for my next video which may or may not pay a small tribute to you :D

Haha - oh wow! How times have changed, I don't think they would allow you to climb the fences now! How cool! Looking forward to it! :)

I am retired teacher now but when I was teaching we took the pupils to Thorpe Park. I thought I was going to have a quiet cup of tea while the kids enjoyed themselves. However, that was not to be as they insisted that 'Sir' would go on Stealth with them! It was certainly an amazing experience. I had to relax on teacups afterwards!

Ohh wow well done on the subs man!!! Well deserved, should be more, they will come :) just back from driving 500miles over 2 days so I’m catching up on my favourites, I’m looking forward to this. Right, I’ll shut up now and get watching… ROOWWLL TIETAAAWWLLSS!

Ahh I haven't been there for decades, I used to live in Thorpe and work as a litter picker there - back when Space Station Zero and Phantom Fantasia were the top rides! Then Loggers Leap opening... all three rides gone now (although I think Space Station Zero still exists as an outside coaster, it was the Flying Fish for a while). I feel the need to go back there now!
