Day Out With Thomas Returns September 2023

Ok honestly in my opinion, donald is the best day out with thomas. Its the best at thirlmere, and arbuably always has been. Its also my favourite DOWT engine of all time.

I wondered why they chose to use Donald instead of Douglas for the events. Wouldn’t it be great to see 3001 as Donald and 2705 as Douglas doubleheading.

2705 is down for maintenance checks, so it’s unlikely we’ll see it for the next while (which is the reason why they’ve added 3001 to the pool of available engines)

@@nathanw7114 2705 doesnt have a boiler or cab at the moment
