This pattern is 👍 More "day pack" patterns, but in different styles/shapes that wrap around the waist in different ways. Edit:Maybe even with more Pockets and drink holders.

There are some major problems with this pattern if you are using an outer fabric with a right and wrong side. Front pocket panel should be cut once as printed and once mirrored (or cut once with your fabric folded in half). Main back panel is also printed backwards and needs to be mirrored before cutting. Not sure if there are other issues with the lining pieces, the fabric I used there is the same on both sides. Seems like a big oversight, since you mention right and wrong sides in your video. Real waste of material too, having to recut those pieces...

And now making it again with a few modifications. Adding zip closure to the front panel as well as a rear zip pocket. Making it in ripstop nylon which is a real pain but looks great. Also using a very strong nylon thread. It's for a friend who loved my bag and asked could I make them one. It's a fun bag to make and really useful

@@dariuszak1402 just be aware some of the pattern pieces are incorrect in terms of right side/wrong side. It wasn't an issue when I first made it as my fabric didn't have a right/wrong side but it did when I made the bag with different fabric. Others have also noted this. Also didn't need to have the strap as long as I am under 6 foot. I use the pocket near the strap for a bottle and it works well. A friend uses his for his table tennis bag and it works well for that as well. I did find it's a a bit tricky to align all the layers but overall pretty good. You could add extra seam allowance and trim later to make it a little easier

How do you find the side zip? It looks like content could fall out while in use. Planning to make this for my son who has type 1 diabetes and carries supplies and snacks w him. Thanks for the tip about pattern placement for back/front placement!

@@bambowers8177 you add a thicker fabric inside to avoid pull through. Sometimes even thin plastic discs.

I have so many not nice things to say about this pattern and the other one I purchased the large fanny pack it would take too much time to explain so I'll just say for $2.99 you get what you pay for😡😠🤬😤
