Almost done with mine! I made a few alterations to the original design: • added an hand-embroidered shark to the front panel • moved the pocket panel to inside the bag • added a patterned innerlining So dope - thanks for sharing this with us!

pacificYO that’s so cool. I haven’t made mine yet. Would you ever be able to help or tutor such a beginner like me?
@pacificYO5 жыл бұрын
@@akuabaryeh5181 I'd definitely recommend taking a beginning sewing class if you haven't already. I am an absolute beginner (just started last month), and made this immediately after finishing the class. Proper Fit Clothing's youtube video + pattern were very easy to follow once I understood the basics.

Curious about the small piece on the front that looks like a little leather patch attached with grommets. I didn’t recall seeing that in the list of material or shown in the tutorial. It’s what made me choose this bag.

Awesome tutorial! I would have never tried this on my own, but you make it look like it can be done a lot easier than I ever thought possible! Thanks for that!

Just bought the pattern, what size zipper is it though? The link take me to one that is 30 inches but I don't think that's correct
@ProperFitClothing5 жыл бұрын
Jennifer Belviy We recommend using longer zippers because you end up cutting the end off. In the video we used 7inch zipper :)
@dasmegacool5 жыл бұрын
Jennifer Belviy yes it’s too long no but you can use the extra for another project.

@CharlesAlanRobinson6 жыл бұрын
that is a really good video. Your experience sewing the curves on hats really comes in handy with this project. Take a look at the video at 7:02. When I saw it, it made me think of a flat top hat. I think it would make a very interesting front to a hat. Probably not the zipper, but how cool would it be to have a couple of small pockets. Maybe an easy mod to the Patrol Cap. ;)

You really can use any fabric. The heavier weight fabric will turn out more quality and last longer.
