Very good tutorial! The final result was incredible, looking at the thumbnail I imagined that you had used some tool from G'MIC, but you used only the tools from GIMP itself. A beautiful end result! 😊

@5:24 to save people the hassle of trying to figure out what he did hit "Tools" then "Foreground Select" and all the way to the right of your computer screen under the "X" button its a small tab click it hit "add tab" and select "tool Options". i hope that's clear enough and it helps!
