Dunno if you have since found a good place for food at Universal and IOA, but I can highly recommend the buffalo chicken tater tots in IOA at Green Eggs and Ham. You mentioned Bubba Gump, also good, and of course you can’t go wrong with a wee cheeky Panda Express 🐼

We booked them on the universal app, it’s the only place we could find the 1 day park ticket (they do longer tickets too if you plan on going for more than 1 day)

Panda Express on CityWalk is our go to at Universal. Breakfast at Hard Rock Cafe was great too, but we struggled in the parks. Richters burgers was ok but nothing special.

i recomend blondies to eat in universal islands of adventure, they do sandwiches and cheesy fries and stuff and you can make your own, its in the cartoon part and i find it so nice. we dont really like universal food either and thats the only place we will eat🤣x

Haha everyone is cheery and happy in Orlando! That’s a tough one! We really love the day or two in universal, but for us that’s all it needs. We could spend multiple days in Disney!

Loving the blogs. We’ve always hired a car and paid parking. Any idea what the difference in price is between getting Ubers/Lyfts everywhere vs hiring a car? Seeing more and more people not hire a car.

It depends on where you stay really! We find getting Uber/Lyft is cheaper because parking is $25/€30 a day, and u/l is $20 max each way. It just depends on where you want to go out of the parks often as that’s where it could get expensive

We were going to go without a car, but it’s now free to park at a Disney resort and free to park at the Disney parks. The idea of getting on a bus with my Autistic 17 year old fills us with dread also. Car it is.
