The information about parking etc and walking the stretch to show us the access and swims is absolutely incredible. Hi Rob Love the videos, Very informative. keep doing what your doing. Can you night fish the Brewery inn stretch? Cant seem to find anything online. As got a long way to travel. Any pegs more suited for night fishing? Thanks Tony
@RobsAngling2 ай бұрын
Hi Tony, yes you can night fish the stretch. There are probably 2-3 pegs with the room you need. The water flow is pretty fast through this area so keep an eye on the level this time of year - There’s not many slacks. 👍🎣

hello buddy. just been watching and liking your videos ….. me and the old man are going to eveshams for a week at the end of august and one of the things he wants to do is catch a barbel on the river severn. he’s got bad knees and looking for somewhere for him to go that’s not too much of a walk is a must. your videos have got him all excited and he can’t wait to try one of your spots you mentioned and what amazing videos you have made. cracking fishing and very informative. looks amazing ….. just subscribed too … all the best and looking forward to more tips and videos before we head that way in a couple of months 👍👍😁😁🎣🎣

Had some brilliant sessions down this stretch of river and the free stretch next to it. I wonder how many people have paid to fish this stretch, walked past this peg not realising this is the last peg the pub owns and have ended up fishing in the free stretch just across the little stream down stream.

Not too many I’d imagine - This peg tends to suck you into fishing it if it’s free.. Hard one to walk past 👍

Every time i fish this peg and the next one down im constantly snagged which i think is my lead in the rocks rather than the hook - did you experience this here at all? I only started river fishing last year and the brewery inn stretch only so looking for ways to cut this down as never confident im actually fishing. My leads are fairly small and youre using big feeders which i guess would stop it getting stuck in small crevices?
@RobsAngling5 ай бұрын
There are some rocks and snags there - Losing a hooklength happens from time to time. Not much you can do about it if you don’t know they exist. 👍

Hi Rob do you have any advice for someone new to fishing . After my last session of blanking all day I went home defeated close to selling all my gear. It's boring watching a static Rod all day. What do you do when you've not had any bites for 4-5 hours? I switched baits multiple times
@RobsAngling6 ай бұрын
I’d consider a move if you’ve not had a bite in around 2 hours max on the river - Try to travel light and explore a few different pegs to try and find some feeding fish. Good luck and stay positive - You’ll get a few bites 👍🎣🐟
@richardburns12876 ай бұрын
You want a pint of maggots, a 13' rod, a closed face reel loaded with 3.2 bayer and 0.10/ 2lb hooklink with a size 20 on. Forget about pellets, boiles and all these fancy baits. Fish want maggots. Forget about heavy tip rods and sat staring at it for hours. Start fishing traditional style, catching everything in that swim 👍

Ive been a few times but to access the downstream pegs do you just walk thru that hole in the hedge opposite where the path comes out on the bridge ?

Does the river appear to be in good health? I only ask, because of the alleged pollution of our rivers, with thousands of incidents of illegal dumping of sewage. Ive been told that the river severn has been particularly hard hit.

This is why fishing gets stopped on waters , waters abused , litter an 🔥 fires lite , undesirables descend ruin it for all . Because someone don't think , an names waters making it look good them . When will people learn keep quiet , make videos yes , do really have name waters ? Just stop think a bit ?
