This is absolutely the best tutorial I have ever seen. I am going out and making a day to night shot. I am a retired Vet and former police officer and I have taken to photography with the passion I had with my former careers… this video is what I was looking for.

I love, love, love Gavin Hoey. These videos are perfect. Straight to the point with full demonstration. Explains enough to try it out without getting to deep in every little redundant detail. Keep it up Gavin. I will watch anything you are in.

What I've learnt from watching Gavin's videos is that it's more important to be creative with your equipment than to just buy the best and expect great shots. I'd never have thought of using the tungsten setting and a flash like this but this is one kind of shoot I'd love to try!

These videos are what sold me on the 360s. Gavin's got a great presentation ability, and, the setup isn't overly complicated. very good stuff..

Gavin:Thank you for your presentation. I want to especially express how much I appreciated your follow up to the photo shoot with some insight into the post processing elements you ultimately used. So often presentations like this do not incorporate the touch up techniques. Thanks for permitting us to see that demonstrated as well.

Hi Gavin, awesome video.. Can u explain when to use white card and when to use grey card to adjust WB?
@GavinHoey9 жыл бұрын
+aabulela I use the grey card to fix white balance in Photoshop / Lightroom. If you have a pure white card you can take a snap of it in the same light you're working with and set it as a custom white balance in camera.
