Wow....I used this strategy for past 20 years, doing it by hand, it's part of the 'market makers' handbook on supplying asset classes and taking spreads, and here it's called 'grid'. Amazing I even came across this video. The problem with this grid bot and I know it may be obvious to some, but if you buy into this when you believe the market looks good and then it goes down the bot hasn’t had the chance to buy so you automatically end up in the red until the market turns around, at this stage I personally prefer arbitrage it appears to be less rewarding short term but you see more green.

I'm really late to the party but just in case you might see it in notifications or some shit or haven't had your answer yet no. A cold wallet isn't cold when it's doing transactions it temporarily becomes "hot" as it connects to your computer in order to send transactions over the internet. And returns cold when you unplug it. Leaving it in would defeat the purpose of it being cold.

Usually, the thing that everyone expects doesn't happen. I'm guessing this "crash" is a false flag, and when buyers start to come in we will see a short squeeze in all markets for a few months before we have a blow-off top and go into the actual crash.
