This video really does help. I'm a beginner. Started about 3 months ago at the end of 2020. Using the 3 allowed day trades in a cash account per week to get an idea of how everything works REALLY helps. Also, watching charts and real time data AFTER HOURS also brought me good fortune by building confidence. Volumes are typically much lower and you get to see the swings at a much slower pace, giving you time to process a hypothetical trade as practice and to review why your trade was a winner or loser. Just something I've noted during the learning process; maybe it'll help someone else that's overwhelmed the first few weeks.

Also you could go on Ameritrade Think or Swim to paper trade for free to get used to how to trade, experiment, and eventually use real money. You could start with as little as 30K day trading actual money. Otherwise your not real day trading. Swing trading maybe. 30K gives you a tiny 5k buffer, if you drop under 25K you can't day trade until you raise it again. You have to be very careful at that low amount and make many very small scalps but with leveraged etfs like DWT/UWT you can do quite well will even small amounts, and double to 60k in a short time.

@@coocoocachooglin Well you need to be more specific than that. You need 25k in a broker account to be able to do consistent day trades, that's a US law. Fall below that and you can only sell your stock, no more buys until you raise it. Scalping you'll just have to read about but it's one of the easiest daytrading strategies and lots of people have their best ways of doing it but they don't vary much. It's easy to grasp. Think Or Swim paper trading is a fake money to practice on the real market but no real money trading. Account is free too. The hard stuff is developing the mental disciplines of impulsiveness, patience, gambling habits, inaction/fears, stuff like that.

Hi. Best video I've seen at explaining things. Two questions: 1) I hear Day Trading isn't allowed unless you have a minimum of $25,000? 2) When you say what Market do you want to "hire" to go out and make the transaction of Buying or Selling, are you saying there's a fee for each transaction? How does the Market make money if the transaction is free? Why choose NSDQ over any of the others? Thanks!

A few questions about Lightspsed. Coming from a 0% commission broker, how does "cost" per Share and Trade come in to effect? Are those fees deducted per Buy and per Sell, or Open/Closed Position? Are they deducted at the end of each month? Similar question for Margin Interest; Is Margin Interest (if dipped in to Margin) deducted per trade or at the end of the month? My final question is about Account Type. Typically I would go under Individual, but if I were to establish an LLC with an S Corp election for taxes, would I need to select an LLC Account Type? Amazing video!!! I just want to know what are "Inside Bid" and "Inside Ask," I saw you clicking on "inside bar" and the price bar changed to the same numbers as the inside bar. Also, you said something about I need to change the price "to 36.98 so I can get out," and you had it at 36.99 and I think this involves the "Inside Bid" and the "Inside Ask."
