I have been using the lines before you was born and it still working tells me when it go uptrend and downtrend but the candlesticks works too repeats same patterns just have to a bigger research on the charts I love the J Pattern that’s when the price action is going up skyrocket see candlesticks climbing up but you have to stop before it goes far up because it’s coming a downtrend you need to stop early so you could sell your stocks before loosing money when it goes downtrend. Just like I say I do love the lines it tells me when it goes uptrend and then downtrend. Candlesticks analysis are great but sometimes it fools you, you believe it’s going up then it goes down same the other way you think it’s going down and then it goes up , I always stick with my lines one monitor and other monitor with candlesticks same stock when I am investing my money to cut down my risks. Excellent video for the beginners thank you Clay

This was my third video of yours that I watched. Immediately subscribed. Your explanations are clear and very well broken down. And the repetition is necessary. As a positive, you repeat yourself in a way that it’s still presented slightly different, so it doesn’t feel like a broken record. Even though your focus was on the candlesticks themselves, the explanation of the breakthrough line also introduced chart history analysis and got me looking at the intervals of the chart/trends, which helped me learn another way to make informative decisions. Thank you for explaining, and giving me the confidence I need to get into trading. I can only afford to start small. But hey, nothing wrong with that.

Great upload Clay, really well demonstrated. I really enjoy watching your videos and looks like you had a great '3 wick rejection' to the downside going on there, nice. I have to say that the 3 wick rejection' strategy is a simple (so perfect for novices out there) yet stunning strategy to utilise, and is very simple for anyone to backtest. This strategy works very well on the lower time frames (1 min - 15 min) for me especially, and can be modified to add more rules. Vamos!

Love your videos. Good stuff. I recently quit my job for options trading. I have experience I lost 60k and went back to basics. Even got some training. But now have been doing very well. I’m far surpassing my original outline of goals and hope this continues. W that said. I say trade using the lines. I click over to sticks for volume. But besides that, your line is better imo. No one will say that, no one uses that. But it’ll give you a better long term personality of your options portfolio you trade. In my opinion.

Great Vid Clay. I started with candlesticks because I researched a lot prior to trading. Did that help me be successful? At first no, however once I REALLY learned sticks, RSI and volume candles (red/green). This video is VERY important for training new people to the market. I'd like you to explain in a video why the open of a 5 minute candle closes red, yet volume is green, and why the RSI moves higher during that 5 minutes too. :) Then visa-versa

Older vid but lets throw it out there. What do you call the discrepancy between the open and closes or vice versa? Take a look at 15:14 as an example, the last candle opens below where the previous candle closes. Why is that. Why doesn't the next open pick up precisely, or linearly, where the next begins? Is this lag? What is this? I can't think of any other way to express what I'm asking. Must be a novice question but hey, that's why I'm here.
