there are two really great reservoirs: nam houmi and nam souang a 3 kilos apart. from the video, i think you guys are at nam souang. 3 kilos south from there is nam houmi. back in 1997, these places were nothing there and now, wow... thank you for sharing/showing how things have changed.

Whow, what an amazing nature! I love this and I would like to be there as well. But at least already in Vientiane looking out of the window :-) So the dirt street in the beginning was that street no. 13, destroyed from building the "Highway"? Enjoy your time!

Yep route 13 is a terrible drive at the moment, it's still being fixed up and newly paved, you can get there way faster on the expressway!

Thai has just relaxed restrictions from the 1st, (Yesterday). For sure more easier to get into Thailand now as compared to before.
