I've never regretted moving from Los Angeles to Corpus Christi. Great place for fishing, Mexican food, and beaches. It does get hot here, but it's about as close to perfect as you can get

Ok..I understand going to Whataburger. It's a Corpus Christi company. But a snow cone shop? A pizza joint? And NOT a SEAFOOD RESTAURANT??!! WTH?? Who books this show? I can't imagine going to Corpus and NOT eating fresh seafood..I went there last October and went to Pompanos Restaurant, Harrison's Landing, and Snoopy's Restaurant. All were even better than their reviews 😂😂

Next time you come back to Corpus, go eat Railroad Seafood. They sell fish by the pound or by plate, fried drum and shrimp are their best. WaterStreet Oyster Bar probably has the best grilled or blackened options. They also serve sushi.

I grew up down the street from Sno-Ball and I went there countless times as a child and I was super excited to see it included. I use to get frozen chocolate bananas from the freezer over 15 years ago

Born and raised in CC. Nothing better then leaving. I like going home and seeing the beach but theres is nothing to do there. You either work the base, the hospitals or the refinery.

Of course, the largest employer in the City is CCISD……which means there is literally nothing in the City for economic prosperity. The City Council turn down Sea World in favor of the Texas State Aquarium. Told Tillman Fertitita to “pack sand” when he wanted to create a “Kemah-esq” restaurant and amusement area on the T-Heads. Consequently, the City is dead and will not change.

My wife and I slept on the Lexington for a scout camp out for a night. It was a great experience but the bunks were small. At 6 foot I slept curled up to fit.

The ancestor of Christopher Columbus sailed the replicas of the Nina, Pinta and the Santa Maria in 1992 to celebrate the 500 year anniversary of Columbus’s historic voyage. The three ships began construction in 1983.

This aired on PBS? It's a complete waste of 26 minutes. The Nina, Pinta,and Santa Maria replicas started coming apart the first year after Spain donated those tubs to the city. They used to be in the water but now they're dry-docked because they are too worthless to fix. Then we go to the Lexington, which is difficult to see how this ship is characteristic of the Sparkling City by the Bay. Whataburger is good choice .... back in the 1960s. He doesn't even go into one Tejano restaurant .... and there many! Next time get someone from Corpus to make this film.

The Lexington is in Corpus because of the City’s Naval Aviation History. Corpus is the Headquarters for CNATRA (Chief of Naval Air Training) and The Lady Lex’s final tour was as a training carrier for Navy/Marine Flight Students. Fun fact, Corpus Christi is where the US Navy’s Blue Angels began and are still currently headquartered although they are home ported in Pensacola now. The CNATRA (the Admiral) is the CO for the Commanding Officer of the Blues.
