I grew up on North Beach, in the 1950s 1960s. It was a great place to live and was beautiful, the storms and time changed it, I remember the trains hauling cotton to the docks,, and there was palm trees everywhere.

What a great presentation. I was born and raised in CC and remember well the North Beach area and the amusement park and the tourist courts and the great beach. My grandparents lived on the beach and I would bike over to visit from Hillcrest to swim and watch the Harbor bridge construction from it's start in 1954. Would love to see the beach area live again. I live in Portland and I'm excited about this project. North Beach is beautiful and this will fix the problems. This will also bring in alot of work for so many people. My family talked me into moving to Corpus and I've never been so happy.

I don't know about all this but, I always wanted to be an architect as a kid and I would take a page out of San Francisco's Ocean Beach Wall. It's cheaper and all that water disperses that way too. I would bring back the Mar idea again and rebuild the vision Corpus had back then. We are way too advanced now just to let a storm beat us again.

Sad more residents aren’t proud of their amazing city. Build it and folks will come enjoy and spend money here. Seems a shame to waste such a gem of a place. The waterway is such a brilliant idea, skys the limit with this!

Has anyone researched the developer? Jeff Blackard is a genius. Look at his headquarters and Croatian village in McKenney, TX. very impressive.

It's a shame all these years stuff never change but for only certain communities. The gentrification of the Northside and lack of development on the Westside is unfortunate. Downtown is the place that needs attention as well as most of the city. Sorry I won't be able to see it I live in Colorado now. Go Bucs!

Pie in the sky for a city that cant even fix the roads in its busiest areas or update critical infrastructure in areas like flour bluff. You want to develop north beach? Get a casino gambling bill passed.

That’s all nice n dandy, but as u can see , bridge hasn’t been worked on for what seems a year and then we got the BIGGEST problem which is the cv-19. When if it all comes together for Corpus , it will b what it has been starving for years, LIFE. With Cheniere, Steal Mill n possibly another refinery as in Exxon or Chevron, Corpus n other surrounding areas will expand n growth. This is what is needed to “hold” on to n build new memories.

Did this ever get funded? I'm from Corpus Christi originally and rarely return. North Beach has been ugly for decades. This is the first project that deals with the flooding there.

This part of a Texas has missed out on a lot of the development over the last 40 years and and there have been plenty of would be developers with their handouts for city money and And you can't be like that it has to be a serious developer development you would almost have to have a to have some kind of a contract withe contract with condo developers and some other people that are willing to put some of their money in on the deal and.
