Great overview of a special area. I live just a mile away from the Salt Lick and can testify it’s truly a one-of-kind destination that has no equal anywhere else in the Republic of Texas 🤘

I got engaged at Hamilton pool in 21, right after the big freeze. At the time the waterfall had stopped for many months. No swimming and no walking under the overhang anymore, too fragile after all the ice and prolonged sun zero temps. Still beautiful and can’t wait to take my kids back

I haven't been to Hamilton Pool in 45 years but we sure had a good time when we would go there. Salt Lick? My favorite in Texas. Great video.

very nice video. I am a new subscriber, I love your videos, they are super interesting. There is a French proverb that says (the world is small). Indeed, I am Belgian (Brussels). The beginning of your video, the lady is Belgian. Belgium is recognized by its good fries and mussels and also chocolate. too bad the lady didn't invest in this area. I plan to visit Texas this year in July. unfortunately, everyone advised me against this period (July, August), because it is very hot and humid. I am confused. best wishes.

It'll be hot during those times, I recommend spending time in the water or indoors at hot times 12-4 other wise just enjoy the beauty of Texas!

So true. I was at a bday party for one of my son's friends about ten years ago. Me and the kid's dad were the only ones from Texas. Every last one of them were from Cali.

😊can’t swim in Hamilton Pool anymore. You need to go online to walk down and see it. Just as the video shows, it was almost loved to death

Japanese Spring sounds pretty cool. I've never been to that pool. But I wanna go the other thing I can't stand salt lick BBQ I do not like there anything. Sorry but to each its own
