Day trip to The Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore

Our area was voted a while back as the most beautiful place in the USA by "Good Morning America". Thought we would take a couple hours and go with our friends to show their Spanish exchange student some scenery along the Lakeshore. 90 miles wide and 305 miles long, Lake Michigan is a sight to behold.

Loved the shot of the cabin at the beginning Todd. Gorgeous area there by the lake. Exchange students? We had a foreign exchange teacher who stayed with us 14 weeks in 2005. Hiroshi Kebewkawa. He teaches English now in Tokyo to junior high students. What a culture experience. Nice to see you out with the family and outside the mancave. Have you found Barry Bangemout on the Tube yet. Talk about a snare drum collection. Be Safe out there!

I've seen Lake Michigan from many angles throughout my life, and a far as I can remember, this is the prettiest view of them all. It makes me want to tackle that climb, really.

As a person who has done that climb twice in my life darlin', just say NOOOOooooooooooooooo!!!!! I do not doubt your ability nor drive but, I warn you, your butt and thighs and calves will disown you! The easiest way I found to do it was on all fours, head down and, just go. It takes a while but by not looking up, you're pleasantly surprised an hour or so later when you do reach the top.
