I love the message and everything, but can we just talk about their first day sales from their albums? “The Day” only got 23, “Entropy” only got 8,585, “The Demon” got 30,174. Yall that’s such a big difference from Entropy. The growth omg. And to mention, they’re the first boy group (band) of JYP to hit at top 5 in melon since 2PM (group) I’m really happy for my boys, but sadly they can’t promote. What’s good is they’re finally becoming more recognised in Korea, this might probably becoming their most successful comeback yet.

This lyric is so relatable for me. 2019 is the worst year I've ever had. I stuck with my research and thesis. I push people away, my family, friends, and someone who want to help me. The fact that both the English and Korean lyrics are sooo impactful, shows how talented as an artist they are. I think even in 2022 till date the English version of zombie is the best English song I have heard from any k group (k-pop group) because this was the first time was got hooked to the lyrics first then the melody (they are sooo well written). I asked my friend to take a glimpse of this song. He wasn't a fan of a non-pop songs. So when he agreed, I told him to pay attention to the MV and turn the English captions..... After a while, I asked him "How's it?", "Did you get the song's message?", then I was surprised to see that he started giving me lengthy replies. I guess he was crying while texting his reply. When I asked "is Day6 good?" he said "Ofcourse!".Then I advised him to watch their other Mv's...and he did! Well I guess I turned him into a myday. When I see all this comments about emptiness, depression and loneliness I feel worried. I'm worried about you mydays. I know how it feels... This year I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, after years of believing that I had a mayor depression but no those apparently were episodes of this other disorder, and I don't know how to take that. Well, I never knew how to take anything so I've been living like a zombie just like you guys. So I just imagine all of you at home, trying to "live a life, this meaningless life" but I just can't. It feels unfair, all the endless suffering. Because I know that we try our best breath even when we don't want to. And I know that we all have done something wrong in our lives, but I also know that no one deserves this shirt. So to all mydays, in behalf of this life I want to say I'm sorry, you don't deserved this pain.

I'm crying soo much. As someone who has struggled with depression all their life, this song has given me so much comfort. I waking up each day has been a huge struggle. Not knowing my purpose in life and feeling completely lost. Not being able to think past the present and not seeing a future. I am honestly 'counting the time until I close my eyes'. My parents are not the type of people to acknowledge mental illnesses and in my culture, mental illness is a sign of weakness and associated with being broken. So I can't really tell anyone how I'm feeling. Just knowing that someone out there understands has made my heart feel so full of emotion, more than I thought I could feel. Even in my darkest days, Day6 makes me feel more alive than anything else. Day6, keep making beautiful music! Day6 Fighting! Edit: Thank you to everyone who has wished me well. There are still bad days but I try to find at least one thing, no matter small, that makes happy or proud every single day. I want to thank everyone who has taken the time to read, write and like, not only my comment but other people's comments too. My pain has eased a lot knowing that I am not suffering alone and I'm sure that many people will feel the same way too!

Everyday, I wake up early, get ready, go to the library, study for the whole day non stop because of hundreds of cases and backlogs due, wait for my class to start at 5pm, fail my exams and recitations, my prof scolding me, go back home, rest for 20 minutes and study again,,,,,everyday, it's so tiring, it's a daily routine that I'm so sick of...i ask myself, what if i just stop now and just work for good, what if this profession is not for me?... I mean yeah law school is hard but I don't think I can survive law school without DAY6 in my life. I get busy focusing on my acads so my professors wont embarrass me in the class, so i wont lose track of my goal, so my parents wont disown me. Sometimes I forget to smile, i forget to become the cheerful person that I used to be because of my readings, but then, there's DAY6. Listening to their music became my source of strength and constant source of happiness especially when I'm having panic attacks or after having it. And now, another relatable song! Gosh! Thank you so much, DAY6. How I wish i could comfort you the way you have comforted me when I was struggling.😭seriously, thank you. I owe you guys big time. You guys are the reason why I never give up.

The lyrics that really struck me: "What kind of day was it yesterday Was there anything special I'm trying to remember But nothing much comes to mind Today goes by the same" When I hear about how people my age I know or grew up with are living their lives so fully and accomplishing things, then they ask me what I've been up to... I rack my brains to think of anything remotely interesting I've done out of the ordinary. But there's nothing, I never have a reply asides from a chuckle of 'just the usual' and then I come home and just sit there, staring at myself in the mirror asking 'how did i become like this' (a potato) because surely there is something interesting about me or my life - everyone is unique right? what makes this song special is that it is everyone's story. the struggles, the daily grind, the fake hello, the dead spirit inside us. at one point in our lives, we become a zombie, living for the sake of it. but being a zombie isn't the end. at one point, we become hopeful again, we want to live and feel alive. as the members experience mental struggle, this song even speaks louder. although they are regarded as the band with no bad songs, they still become a zombie with empty hearts and empty minds. but i hope they feel alive again, not for us but for them--for the person that was lost, for the person they miss the most. aside from the emotional lyrics, the instrumental is phenomenal! it's not the typical DAY6 where transitions are dramatic and vocals are dynamic. instead, this song sits on their lower to mid registers. but not to mistake, the chord progression is still as complicated as fck. and the mixing and transitions of the song is on another level like really complicated; they are subtle yet difficult to pull off. so to end this essay, let's all support our superband to the end. i know we won't get any promotions for this comeback but please support them in our little ways. fighting DAY6. hope u get well, mydays are just here waiting. no rush.

i love how people interpreted this song as a song that talks about their mental state instead of a love song which is what it seemed to be marketed as before. i came back to read the english translations after listening to the english version because i know young k said that they didn't directly translate the korean lyrics but still wanted to keep the same mood and meaning and they did a fantastic job. even though day6 won't be promoting this on music shows i know this song will have a long-lasting impact in the long run and i want to thank them for releasing something so vulnerable.

This is so relatable, I love how they use Zombie as an imagery of our boring everyday life. I have seen so many depressing posts on the Internet ever since this situation started, people feeling lonely and suicidal, everyone going through mental breakdowns. Itʼs extremely hard to protect your mental health when youʼre locked inside four walls. Iʼm so happy Day6 gave us a song that makes us feel less alone during these times. A lot of lyrics hit me hard, but Zombie describes what my life was like for so long. I'm pretty young, but I've gone through a lot. This song says everything that I felt, or more so that I didn't feel. I felt empty, It didn't help that I had lost my grandfather in the spring of 2019. I smiled and laughed, it looked genuine. But it really never was, I didn't feel happiness. Then someone in science and her friend (I now consider that "someone" one of my closest friends) were talking about kpop and they introduced me to it. After that day my mental health improved and this is the happiest I feel I've been in the past 3 years. It's like they saved me. They aren't my only source of happiness, but they helped me find it. Whenever you're having a hard time remember that things will get better. It might take days, or it might take years. But don't take that opportunity of getting better away from yourself by ending it all. There is a way out of the darkness. I've been there, most people have. And if they haven't they most likely will at some point in their lifetime. Sorry for any typos. But please know if nobody else cares, I do. I care, it doesn't matter if I know you or not because I care. I'll be here for you if nobody else is. Take care Edit: Thank you all so much for the likes and replies.
