That place that flew over was a C-130J Hercules transporter. The RAF often practice low flying training with them in the mountains or here in the fens... They are super maneuverable and they seem to throw them round like fighter jets... ✈️🛩️

Chester update fine with me such a lovely dog . New forth crossing is a mighty piece of engineering. And you do get a good view from south Queensferry on the banks of the river nice pub there had a nice meal and a pint, Crawfords farms , he puts some good videos out

Chester updates not boring, provided they don't take up too much tractor admiring time ! Went around Scotland, and to Loch Ness in 1970's with dad, met an old fisherman who told us - spoiler alert - the 'monster' is definitely fictional . Another Victorian invention to bring tourism, like so many 'haunted' places. Loved the Cairngorms.

Loch Ness went there some Years ago. The statistics of the Loch are amazing how old how deep. Remember going on a boat ride and went over the other side of the loch from the road and spotted wild goats and an osprey. Time I will never forget beautiful part of the world 🌍

They stopped painting the Forth Rail Bridge back in 2011. They used a new system that took them 10 years to complete but then it’s good for 25yrs, so sadly that saying doesn’t work anymore.

I've stayed in the same hotel about 9 years ago, it was lovely, there was also an amazing pub with 100s of whisky's and a sea food restaurant that was amazing, I can't remember it's name. Went with my wife for our 1st Wedding Anniversary. We love Scotland

New one is queensferry crossing, not sure if the forth road bridge (old one) is only used for buses etc not cars anymore. Maybe wrong. I should know as I'm 20 minutes along the road in Fife 😅🤦‍♂️ that Dakota is the hotel me and the wife escape to when we manage to get a child free night 😛😆 just along the road and a nice wee escape. Was buzzing to see u at Gloagburn ! Been watching Crawford since late July I discovered him when I had covid 😅 hes only 15 mins from us. been to farm shop for hot chocolate and cake plenty of times 🙌🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 glad you guys seem to be enjoying scotland 🥰😎

Your covering a lot of ground given motorways and dual carriageways are few and far between, hope your enjoying the differing landscapes your seeing. Looked like a C130 "Hercules" cargo plane. That was the Queensferry crossing you went over. The middle one is the old Forth Road bridge and the red one is the Forth Rail bridge. If you go back in the morning look for the memorial for all the men and boys that dies during the co structure of the rail bridge. It becomes apparent that there was no HSE back in the 1882. Also they developed developed new paint that last 10 years between coats so they no longer continually paint it. Shame the same can't be said about continually painting the 936 🤣🤣. Also if you have time you can actually walk over the old road bridge via the footpath. Very romantic
