The closest things you'll get to a pure Starcraft cardgame are A: Fantasy Flight's Starcraft the board game (it's basically a cardgame), or one of the multiple starcraft cardgames made in SC2 custom maps.

Interesting concept for new cards. On the turn @23:08, could have hero powered the Thalnos, then cleared the board with Rising Waves. Probably would have still lost due to Asteroid shenanigans, but who knows.

haha, Starcraft has entered Hearthstone and Sean is all hyped up again about the game. Personally I find it fun that they introduced that universe into the game and I hope they will expand on it. On Starcraft that is. No need for that Overwatch nonsense in Hearthstone :)

I actually like the idea of a variation on the resourse/econ in card games. Like you need to spend 1 each turn to spawn a worker to get that +1 Mineral(mana) next turn, so you need to make a decision between tempo/econ on turns, spending all your mana versus that worker each turn. Getting Supply in there as another layer could also be interesting. (In my vision, the Worker and Supply buttons would be like a Hero Power, always present, not cards to draw like Magic.) Kind of a game concept that's a median between Hearthstone and Magic, the certainty of mana but the tempo/play balance of MtG (without the mana flood/screw RNG).

Seeing this for the first time. Initial thoughts are that the infestor should be a late game card with fungal growth and neural parasite as abilities. The current card doesn't really reflect what the unit is in the RTS. Carriers represent the game well enough but protoss units should have shields.

I get the feeling this deck could do better without the spell damage bundle. You never wanted to play the dragon (unless it was all you had) and the Toy Chest was only used with spell damage once, to get a 2nd Mistah Vistah which didn't even get played. The Oracles were (of course) pretty good, but maybe even that could be replaced. And as fun as duping the carriers is in concept, it's not great due to the board space. Just the one carrier is usually enough anyways, once you play it out.

the outcast mechanic is iconic for hearthstone because what it shows is that even your hand is random. while in mtga you can actually rearrange your hand however you want. its only issue is that rope bm is like 500000000x worse
