The auto alignment system from edge core magnets is swapped for magnets in the center piece that pull it to the end of the turn.

Received mine today, I must say, this cube is easily a candidate for a cube with the best corner cutting ever, it corner cuts with so much ease. It has the same corner cutting with the Hudong despite not having a circular center.

The center cap magnets actually contribute to the auto-alignment. The magnets attached to the tensioning system are fixed and don't rotate with the layer. while the ones attached to the center caps move with the layer.

Yeah I was wondering how that worked. I just think having that instead of repelling edge magnets is any better?

​@@amankumar-fr7no I only have the highest variant so I can't compare with the version with edge repelling magnets. But you can test that the idea works by comparing auto alignment with the center cap and without center cap.

the purple version has those cap magnets to help with auto alignment, not to keep the cap on the centerpiece. that's why it doesn't have edge to core magnets.

Same, loved the purple internals of the wrm 2021 but colored internals never caught on

MoYu tried this with SOO many puzzles (WRM, RS Skewb, RS3M Super, RS3M Super V2, RS3M V5, RS Pyraminx and more) but it never caught on.

would you say this would compare with stuff like Gan 14 Tv4 or Wrm v10 BC?

Personally i think the TV4 is like marmite and i dont like it as much as i probably should. Mixture of the plastic and the lube they use (get rid of QiYi lube and put swift+Blitz and its like a whole new experience though) but anyway, the Standard and the Fancy versions are comparitive to the new XT3 in terms of feel, the Supreme is more like a V4, very smooth. The GAN and V10 are relatively fast feeling, the Supreme doesnt feel like them but the other 2 (standard and Fancy) do. Will try and incorporate comparisons into these videos in the future

Hmmmm the M slice are kinda fast . Probably gonna pick the standard . It has all the tech like corner to core mags. And spring which is controllable . And edge repelling magnets is kinda useless to me.

Just done a short, not quite up to GANs level of auto aligning but based on the fact that this is new idea, it's relatively good. Cant see them working on this more and making it stronger somehow or adding the repelling magnets to the edge pieces on the supreme to really increase it. Don't get me wrong, you can certainly tell the difference between the Fancy version and the Supreme

tbh I like this cube but I'm hugely against cubes coming with a zillion accessories, it's why I am a huge fan of their Guhong Pro...or any cube that doesn't need any extra tools or accessories
