the issue is about accountability of taxes,other avenues of raising taxes could be by cutting down the expensive cost of leadership in this country. paying taxes is like funding a luxurious lifestyle for the politicians and their generations not for our benefit

When people all in one accord decided to build the tower of Babel to reach heaven, God scattered them. It was not the voice of the people. The comparison against GDP in terms of taxation was not in absolute terms. It was a percentage. RSA, Morocco and Tunisia may have high salaries but so are their contributions. Mbui and Azimio have no alternative plan. They can not explain how the worker contributing 1.5 % of the salary would pay for the houses and how long it would take. Azimio Manifesto proposed 1.5% while Kenya Kwanza proposed 3% for housing levy. If a Hustler in KK would take 100 yrs to pay for the house, Azimio hustler would need 200 yrs to pay for the house. Who cares more for the Hustler?
