No mom situation is easy but you are so incredibly lucky with how well Olive sleeps. Being able to put her in her crib for naps like that is rare and the fact that she lies awake in her crib in the morning is a huge blessing. Curious to know how you weaned her from breastfeeding. Maybe you would consider a blog about that? Love your vlogs.

We feel very lucky that she is such a great sleeper! Yes to the breastfeeding thing. I've received lots of comments on how I weaned/why we stopped so I think I'll make a video x

Mark Graham it’s only rare because people don’t persist in getting them to sleep by themselves in their cot. They think they’re ‘bad sleepers’ or whatever but the truth is every baby is a good sleeper, it’s s matter of the parents helping them to learn to self settle and being patients and persistent 👍

When you were saying you are more of a homebudy rather than a workoholic, that is something that I am noticing more and more of myself. Not that I don't want to have a good perspective work one day, it's just that I aim to not be taking work with me home one day once I start properly working. Oh and also, there is one more think I want to say. Recently I've moved to a different city, to study at uni there, which is like 2 hours by a car from my hometown (so definitelly muuuuch closer than Canada is to you), and I was super excited about the move as I felt that I was just ready for it. That's why it hit me quite hard when I started to miss my family, my dog, my sister and just the super familiar space. And that was the moment I realise that there are people who are able to move acros the ocean and see their family a couple times of a year. I admire you for that, seriously, I don't think many people fully realise how hard it had to be! But what is the most important think is that now you are living in a wonderful Ireland (would love to visit one day!)and you are having a loving family.

Oh my goodness Olive is an angel baby! It reminds me of my daughter Ava. She is two now and I miss those days already!! My son is four and he was not chill like that at all! haha! It's funny how each baby is born with their own little personality from the start. Olive is such a cutie! How did you teach her to fall asleep on her own and sleep through the night? I have a 1-year old, but he never goes to sleep on his own and never stays in bed awake without calling me/ crying. And he wakes up 7-10 times a night.

I am so jealous that olive will stay in her bed and you get some time to yourself in the morning, I don’t know any baby that does that. Mine fights sleep and screams the house awake first thing in the morning- it’s exhausting! I’ve been awake before him twice in 14 months!
