I said many times early on in my channel I would never buy Hermes and here I am! I stick to things I love only, I am not into RTW and feel no pressure to buy anything I don't want. Probably 10 years before I bought it I wanted the Farandole 120 necklace and it still makes me so happy I added it! And it went down $100 so waiting worked lol. (It is back up much higher now) If I get another bag great and if I don't I will live! I love that you have planned out buying only the things you love and aren't trying to force yourself into buying what won't work for you. I hope you get your dream color whichever one you narrow it down to!

Hilariously I don't want an Hermes bag, so thats pressure off. I like their slgs and I have a few and I love the silks and housewares. I love my scarves for winter. The only thing I havent tried is shoes. My issue is the staff in Madison Ave Store in NYChas been horrendous to me. I've done all my shopping in the UK where the staff has been lovely. Can't wait to see the scarves you pick for the shirt ;-D

Hehe as soon as it's cold again, I'll need to post more scarf content 😅It's true though, I think many people don't wear them every day or even every week. I'm a scarf person, but it's trickier than people expect because you really need to commit to a whole look for it to seem cohesive! I don't think I wore my silk Dior one at all this past winter. That is so interesting about the scarf-shirt! So you don't buy the scarves separately, just the finished shirt?

I love the shirt idea! I have never seen one I like in store. Have you looked at their ear cuffs? I have 2 in fabulous leather inlay and they come in rose, gold and silver. They may go with your ear vibe.

I have three custom made H shirts (2 from silk scarves, one button down cotton) and they are SUPERB. A good way to wear them in the winter is under a sweater. In the summer as a shirt jacket over an all white or all black outfit. My US based SA said that they now only let you select from a limited list of scarf designs but maybe it’s different in AU.

Watch looks good - go for it. Black shoe booties look great - just stretch them out w/shoe tree (think that's what it is called). Also, a shoe repair shop can stretch the shoe around half a size from my experience. Good Luck! The Hermes journey that I’ve experienced has been lovely. Hermes have so many lovely products and I’ve bought only things I like like their shoes, 90 cm silks, some lipsticks, a bit of jewellery (no fine jewellery yet but I am getting my first piece soon). Out of curiosity i tallied up roughly what I spent before I had my first offer (b30) and it wasn’t even close to being 1 to 1, it was a lot less. I am getting a very clear vibe from my sa and the sm at my store that they are very good at seeing which clients are genuine and make sure we will get what we want. My next wish list bag is quite difficult to get with the specs I’ve chosen and my sa told me there will be some wait for it but I will get it. Enjoy the journey. It’s a great one!

oh you could do the custom blazer too. That would be so u and its definitely a big bonus on the profile. And youd be going into shop a few times so more face time with your SA. One tip is to spread your spend out. Most of the time SAs make you wait 6 months before an offer...So if you front load everything it may be hard to wait it out

Hello Dayle - Hermès also makes custom blazers/jackets with silk scarf lining of your choice. It takes 3 scarves vs the 5 for a shirt because the sleeves aren’t lined in silk. More quiet luxury than a shirt if that is your vibe. Good luck!

Hi Dayle! You might find the suede Oran's a little softer, therefore easier to break in. A little side note, Hermès dinnerware is porcelain not ceramic, so it's much more luxe and hardier, less prone to chipping. I have a few sets, and mugs in different designs. The Passifolia & Carnets d’Equateur mugs are larger than most of their mugs (with the exception of the breakfast mugs) and lean more on the feminine side. I love them, u might too. They keep coffee hotter than the breakfast mugs, if u like a larger cup, bc the mouth isn't as wide, so u don't have to fill them up as often as the coffee or tea cups. You could use the Passifolia mug for coffee or tea along side the tray for ur toast, if u wanted other uses for the tray, and if u are interested in another piece 😘 It's fun to see which makers mark I'm going to get. I have a few of the same ones. Sending much love ❤️

I love how you have found Hermes pieces that you love. Now that watch is just stunning lovely Dayle and is definately you and to be able to change the bands out will give you so many looks. I love the idea of buying the scarfs and they will make a shirt for you. That would be fabulous. I think the Birkin 30 is 'your' bag and I can see you with more in the future but only in fun colours. Just an update. i have had tests and seen my neurosurgeon . She is happy with what she has done for me. Nothing has moved that she has fixed with all the bits and pieces she used to put me back together but I am very inflamed in my brain and still recovering from such a major surgery so she has given me some strong medication to help me along this journey. No help as yet but hopefully as time goes by and I increase my dosage. The best news is no surgery which is wonderful. I was very scared at the thought of that. Like I have said before, I am a tough old bird and will get there in the end, never free of pain unfortunately but then I have lived in pain and had many health problems for the past 29+ years so I am used to it. Just have to keep positive. There are a lot of people out there worse off than me. So I am lucky I feel. Much love. Jenni. XX💜

Not sure if its the same in Aus, but in London and Paris general consensus is that buying a watch really helps getting bag offer! A few years back it was buying fine jewellery would help, but thats so popular now so stands out less than a watch on your customer profile

Dayle get a shoe expander to do the work for you, or take them to a proper cobbler (who actually makes shoes, not just garden variety repairer). They will make an enormous difference, put them in an expander and soften the leather for you. If you can't find one in Brisbane they exist in Melbourne and Sydney.

Shearling Chypre’s next winter 😉😂. That Mauve Pale shade is very pretty. I like a number of Hermès products but I’d be happy to buy them without aiming for a bag. I tend to like their non quota bags anyway, the exception being the K25, but they’re all still very expensive and I don’t want to spend so much on bags (or anything really 😂) but I like watching others enjoy their purchases. It’s when $20k becomes $40k or higher with still no bag being bought; do you keep hunting for more things to like or stop and accept the gamble isn’t happening? 🎣

We hear so much negativity around the famous Hermès journey ( hate that word😂) and it’s why I delayed myself to even step in the store. Gosh I was so wrong thinking it would be a bad experience. It’s none of that for me , and it had been very pleasant and still is. Just to think that we are all experiencing bad treatment buying things we don’t like is funny because it’s not the real world . I think, most of us, are enjoying spending our money on beautiful things in Hermès. It’s not a headache or even complicated, it never been for me and I get what I want bags wise, but also in their other departments. Enjoy your own experience there, I’m sure it will be positive! ❤

Haha… you may get there… At first, I didn’t get it either…. It looked like a cult, everyone getting converted to H… it might be an acquired taste… but now, I finally get it! Their quality is indeed outstanding every other brand, I do even feel ripped off now looking at the Chanel leather goods (which I used to love, why should I have to do a quality control in store to get one of these: that’s not my job!), scarfs from any other houses look like bad fakes… i’m there now and finally get it!

I think until you get your hands on the products to actually see the quality do you really get it! I tested the waters with a Glenan H Gris Etain Palladium Bracelet and I found that I completely loved it, I barely take it off other than showers and swimming. The leather and palladium coated metal is absolutely durable non fussy jewellery. To best honest I must of brought countless pieces of jewellery over the years (not by Hermes) only to now realise that by buying better quality and maybe paying a bit more for something that I love that I wear the same jewellery more often. I now spend less essentially it’s Quality over Quantity.

Personally, it’s not been a ‘journey’ with Hermes for me. I actually love a lot of their RTW, especially the equine clothing range (very practical) and this helped a lot, along with having an SA you really gel with. I use all the items I buy, and turn down offers on some items too. It really does seem to be a love for the brand overall that helps to get your offers for bags.

Personally I can't justify the so call "journey"(if there is one😉😉😉), don't get me wrong, I owned quite a few of theirs: mosaique coffee mug and saucer, platinum box, twillys, scarves, few jewelry pieces, and lipsticks ( all these I loved and adore to have them). As someone who has indulged in hoards of brand name clothes and shoes, only to find that when you gain weight that is impossible to lose, nothing fits anymore so better to invest in bags only and some choice shoes because your feet expands also. So unless you are convinced you can maintain your weight or will wear it out by the time age related weight gain hits, then it's worth your investment and enjoyment. Just a thought to ponder on from someone who has lived through the waste of beautiful clothes and shoes which still remain classic and beautiful except the owner is not beautiful anymore.😅
