Hi, Ed. I am glad you enjoyed the video, and your tree is doing better. My moms peach did well every year. But, I can not say if your tree will produce fruit. It is in a container and I have no experience with container fruit. I do not add any chemicals to my trees. I lt nature care for them. I set them up well with what they need to get started. Then they sink or swim in all the rain we use to get. Glad your dad loved to create new plants also. He was creative with the rabbits foot. Hope you are having fun with your friends staying there. Best wishes. E

Feathers work well too for spreading pollen. I'm sure you have a "Hoot" feather around there that can be put to good use. :-)

Hello, my friend. It is good to see you. That is a good idea. When I was put in the hospital. Amy took Hoot to her home back in Oct. She gave Dusty to a lady with all small hens. Tessa has Parker's son, Robin.I am still not well enough to take good car of any more than my cat right now. no feathers I can access right now.

Good video! I have wondered about this before since there are sooooo many daylily varieties. Do you know how long the take to bloom from seed?
@TheEmptynester6 жыл бұрын
Thank you. It depends on the weather. The ones in bloom right now I would collect when pods dry and open in fall. My memory is not working right now. So, I will do another video recording that answer for the May blooming one. When it opens. It could be Aug on that one. 2-3 months.

What was that green net thing? I wonder if I need one?

Hi E, this is great information and I am going to try to do this to my day lilies...what do we do with the pods and when or what do we do to plant them? Hope all is well and thanks my friend ❤️
@TheEmptynester6 жыл бұрын
Thank you, Willow. For now you have to wait till pod drys and opens on it's own. I will do an update video when the pod I showed here is ready.

Are the seeds true the cross?

Only if you cross the same original. If it is a hybrid. You may get the parents back.
