At first i thought this was a full on Spyro 3 rom hack with new levels and stuff... but this... this is actual insanity. But it's interesting, it's a rom hack that teaches you speedrun strategies AND adds cool challenges in the process, it's actually pretty awesome.

There is a way to swim in the air in seashell shore but I think where you are in your playthrough with this it isn't able to be triggered - but I could be mistaken. It's been a long time, over 10 years, since I practiced a lot of these glitches and stuff- perhaps there is an alternate way now :)

just watched this whole vid on yt! yes i watched the whole thing ty for the acknowledgement. i have a few comments 😂 1. i knew youd be able to get on the roof in the skateboarding section, because i first discovered it when i was 11. i was like if an 11 year old can do it, dayo can 😂 2. i miss the trumpets. the byrd music sounds so empty without them 😞 also i had no clue you could easily clip into that minigame about to watch the next part 😭 cant wait. dayo the goat 🫶🏻

After playing all day I got everything from Sunny Villa, Sunset Alps, and Sunrise spring. This was not without save states and referencing Nitrofski though lol. This is hard! But really fun.

I'm trying to play it as a basic casual player, it's hell but at the same time it's giving me back that feeling and curiosity of playing the game for the first time. I've managed to get to Midday Gardens in the exploration version, but challenge mode is a different story, I suck at that one

i have NOT finished this video so excuse me if i sound silly but watching the Struggle to get on top of the tower in the first skateboarding level is so funny to me as someone who used to jump up on there for fun all the time as a kid !! u just gotta get to turbo speeds and use the most obvious route there =] it was actually super disorienting to me when you just Couldn't get up there in reignited TT_TT [at least i wasn't able to]

I have applied mods to other games before. I just need to Bluetooth to work with my computer and Switch controller then easy, or better yet play on console but I don't want to do whatever hardware altering process. Edit, gonna play on the modded Wii once I get PS1 emulation working on that console, with a GameCube controller

A bold move to spend serious effort as a team for a full mod when 99% of players will likely put the controller down before getting even 8 eggs (required for the first unlockable level) lol... But I gotta appreciate it somehow :) I like how all the special tricks are made canon in the dialogue. I wonder if you can encounter a dialog that tells you to use save states if you are stuck lol that would break the 4th wall a bit...

When I have the time, I’m going to play this romhack to tide me over to Chinese New Year next year. It actually starts on Saturday 10th February 2024 and the Chinese New Year celebration always lasts for 15 days.

@@chuifongtam4703 I think the point of the easy mode is just to let casual players actually complete the game. Jeremy Thompson said in his video that the mod is for experienced Spyro players. So casual enjoyers like us will just have to experience the rest through the speedrunners.
