Hi Team Rabbit! Sorry for the delay between vlogs. Thanks so much for your patience. There will be a little surprise for you tomorrow ;)

Good to see this post. You are making fantastic time here, I hope this conditioning prepped you nicely for your Sierra jaunt.
@RabidRabbit6 жыл бұрын
I’m pretty sure you will agree that the conditioning carried over well. My daily average for the past couple of weeks has been over 25 mpd. Ok, I’ve lost some more weight.

Amazing miles! What a gorgeous trail! Yep, you are getting stronger and stronger with each of those miles. Great way to start my Saturday morning...riding along with you on this trip. And the jostling around on top of the pack isn' even that bad. ;-)

Robert Frost . . . 'The woods are lovely, dark and deep, but I have promises to keep and miles to go before I sleep, and miles to go before I sleep.'" :)) Woot! I get so inspired by your hike.

Thanks Skippy, and I’m inspired by Robert Frost.

How did you get your trail name? I don’t remember you telling us. Another great video! You bring joy into my world with your self deprecating humor and fun attitude! Very refreshing!
@RabidRabbit6 жыл бұрын
Thank you. My trail name isn’t technically a trail name but I was already using it on my posts and my daughter thought it would be confusing to change. Actually it was the name of my fantasy football team.

GOOOOD MORNING RABID RABBIT! Glad you took some time off the trail. What a beautiful area that you are in. You should have a fishing pole with you!

I took a few days to help my son move. It wasn’t much of a rest. The videos are backlogged and hopefully will be rolling out soon to catch up. Hint: I’ve hiked 500 miles since the last video.

Rabid Rabbit I bet it was nice seeing your wife and son. Would love to do this trail with my son but can’t take the time off. Someday Can’t wait for your next video. Be safe ☺️

Hi, awesome videos. I've been getting into dehydrating. About 3 of months ago I got a Gourmia 1650. I've dehydrated a few things but am pretty new to it. It would be awesome if you or your wife can make a video of how you make your food. I've seen some on youtube and purchased a book on it. Keep on trekking! Stay safe.

I’m working on the wife to make the video. Hopefully soon.

@RabidRabbit6 жыл бұрын
Griz, I target an average of 2.5 mph excluding breaks which tend to be short. I try to start around 5:30 AM and finish by 7:00 PM.

Hi Rabbit. I know the blogs are behind, but question for you. My son lives in ashland and I will be there on the 21st -23rd of July. Are you already to ashland or if not, what is your ETA? If there at same time, would love to give you some trail magic.

I’ll know more in a day or two. Right now, I’m finishing the part that I skipped. If this old body holds up, I’ll be in Sierra City on Sunday and will start north from Etna a day or two later so I should be in the area near that time. Email Mrs Rabbit at butlercr@hotmail. Com

Rabbit..... the audio, when you interview people, is awful. Close to the camera is fine... but a few feet away makes it difficult or impossible to hear. Why go thru the hassle of filming and interviewing ifn you're not going to be close enough for us to hear?? Otherwise..... good trip and commentary. Ax
@RabidRabbit6 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the feedback. I haven’t seen all the videos and my daughter doesn’t give much feedback. We’ll do better.
