Moved to Izu Peninsula to live in the countryside. I live alone in Kominka (old house). I've experienced mountain life at a farm guesthouse in the sky “Hotsumura”. Misakubo, Tenryu, Hamamatsu city, Shizuoka Pref.

As one of his channel's viewers, I am happy to share how much I was moved by his videos. Also I am very touched to know many people in the world can be healed by this video. Even though the language and culture may be different, the values in life are the same, aren't they⁉︎ 古民家さんの動画の素晴らしさに、日本のいち視聴者として毎回感動しています。世界の多くの方がこの動画を観て感動されていることを知ることも本当に嬉しいです。言葉や文化が違ってもみな同じことに人生の価値を感じられる・・・普遍の価値って世界共通なんですね!

I’m so grateful I found your channel. Very peaceful, very soothing. My planned few months in Japan was curtailed by cancer and the pandemic. These videos will help until I can finally travel there myself. Thank you so much.

Donna -san Thank you for reply! I am now helping him to add subtitles in English. I found this channel for the first time in May of last year. Even though I was born and raised in Japan, I was fascinated by the beauty of the images he created. I am truly impressed that people around the world are equally moved by the beauty and true value of these videos. Love from Japan Yoshie :-)

@@whykaytee7226 -san I am one of those people who are very much soothed by this video. I think it is really wonderful that there are so many people who are healed by this video when it is difficult to relate to people. I wish the peace for everyone in the world... Yoshie:-)

The thing I loved most about this video was how calming everything feels. From your shot sequence, simple subtitles, choice of ASMR scenes without music, and then beautiful composition of shots; the whole time I felt like I was reading a short story by simply watching this video. Very nice, keep it up! Loved this video!
not gonna lie, I thought that the silence that you captured in the video will be unsettling, but turns out it is so relaxing I felt that I was right there, taking in the view. Subscribed to your channel for more content.

When people often go the another country they go to a city. Which is very different to the countryside. Countyside contains the roots of that culture and is more peaceful and sometimes cheaper. Love this channel. Greetings from Ireland. :) Cheers

youtube really did something right by recommending this video. i felt healed just by watching this
自然と共存しながら生活でき、精神統一、自己内観、瞑想を意識せずに共有できる境遇ですね。 貴重な人生の軌道に霊格向上の環境を組み込まれ、素晴らしいと思います。🍀🍀🍀 It's a situation where you can live in harmony with nature and share it without being aware of spiritual unity, self-introspection, and meditation. I think it's wonderful to incorporate an environment for improving spirituality into the precious trajectory of life. 🍀🍀🍀

I can’t even cook rice properly over a electric stove and he’s able to cook perfect looking rice over a fire 😂 I would love to go hear but I don’t think I would be able to cook for myself, I’m not skilled enough

Cook the rice in high heat then after it boils let the steam off a bit and cook it in low heat, then wait for it to be cooked.

I love Japan . As a Filipino I always admired their culture , love the food , people were humble and grounded. It will be my 5 th time to visit late this year or early next year. Covid time to you to go away.
Simplicity and modesty, no excess, being in the moment, no need for constant stimulation and most importantly a relationship with nature. This is all we need.
As a South African this is all so new to me. I am intrigued by Japanese culture and their absolute pride in everything they do. I would love to visit your beautiful country one day!

Currently, the state of my life is changing. Constantly. Moving from this town to that town. Getting told my degree is a worthless piece of sh*it. And getting told it's the best. Leaving loved ones behind. High interest in many different areas of life. But I always come back to those videos. Because I know it's the simple things in life which make a difference. No matter where you are in life, but if you pay attention to keep your room clean, to get to know the rural area around you, to cook, to make time for yourself, etc... You will achieve peace in your soul and can put your heart into things for a period of time even if they doesn't fit in with your preferences anymore. Thank you
