Really great to see you made it there and interesting to watch your video. Your frog jumping is superb. Most of the buildings are actually hidden under the plateau, I've made a short showing this. Would have been good if there was a horde there also!
@borislav24710 сағат бұрын
Lol, would be a struggle if a horde was there. My flying skills I got from you my friend. Thank you for turning Deek into a fully functioning flying machine.
@JBost-en9tq9 сағат бұрын
@ That is a shame since Grey Ghost showed in his video that you could fire your weapons, so battling a horde should theoretically be possible. Someone in the modding community is probably hard at work on this right now, lol.

Funfact: All these cutscenes end with the loading screen, and sometimes you can see that you're missing something in between. That's because these were supposed to be playable segments of you running away with Sarah and Boozer, but they cut it at the last minute.
@arturtimurov8115 сағат бұрын
The first time I saw this was with the king of Gumbi1. I think that all these details were made so that the player himself, while playing, had to get out of the city with Sarah and Boozer at the beginning of the epidemic. This was like an introductory chapter to the main game. But then they simply shortened the gameplay and inserted a separately recorded video. There are a lot of things in the open world that they just left there and didn't come up with a way to walk through them. They didn't lengthen the game. Or they wanted to use them in DLC. But it would be great to play in these areas and complete some tasks. Thank you for explaining in detail how to get there and make the jump correctly. Be healthy, don't get sick...

Being a big fan of this game. That is way cool. I would never have bothered to try it so it's nice that yourself and some others have shown it. I so wish they made a sequel to Days gone. It has so much potential to go on and on. Thanks again Boris!

The building hat you went up the stairs is a copy of the fire escape building in shermans camp.

This reminds me of gta3 where you can access the opening cutscene area by using a dodo aeroplane. Very difficult to do. Think I'll stick to just enjoying someone else do the work😅 Cool video

I saw this on GreyGhost Gamerz. I was hoping you would cover this. Great job pulling this off. The inception reference was on point. 😂 Another winner from DG master, Borislav.

So cool how players are still discovering new stuff. The way Deke flies reminds me a little of Cole from inFamous, another great game

I've managed frog jumping twice, little jumps at chemult and spruce lake like you showed in earlier videos but can't quite control the direction or distance. You're very skilled at all aspects of this game and it's great to watch you in action. Another excellent video my friend. ☺️

This is absolutely fantastic my friend! I cannot believe you & others have found this, my jaw is on the floor. You just know Bend Studio is grinning watching your video like "dang it, he found another one of our secrets!!!" 😂 Some of the areas look like same architecture as Sherman's Camp as well. Fantastic work my friend ❤️
@borislav24710 сағат бұрын
Thank you so much Krissy. All the hard work for this was done by GreyGhost Gamerz. I was just looking to add to his good work, by providing a bit more detail on the journey to get there. I hope Bend Studio are crazy busy on the rumoured Remaster that may happen (lots of things to suggest it might). Thank you for watching Krissy, and I'll be in touch with an email in the near future. You take care.

Well prof. I think I’m gonna leave this mission to the experts. It took me forever to get on that damned crane. I suspect this would drive me mad before I achieved it. Awesome to see & experience no doubt! Riding the broken road indeed!
@borislav24710 сағат бұрын
Not going to lie to you TW, there was a lot of swearing taking place in the first 3 hours of trying to get to this place. But I finally got there, lol. This one could drive you mad for sure.

Absolutely fantastic! I knew you would find this Holy Grail! And I appreciate you showing the exact location of Farewell and the exact route you took. The others don't show this so specifically (although I had a good idea and had mostly figured it out). But still, I cannot for the life of me get there so I feel your pain for your failed attempts lol. But I'll keep trying 🙂 Thanks as always for sharing and giving us the grand tour of Farewell!
@borislav24710 сағат бұрын
Lol, I've got to admit Violet, It took a while for me to pinpoint it due to the fact it doesn't always show itself when you fly over it from certain directions & heights, so I was delighted to just give a bit more info on this. Without GG's & KG1's videos, I simply wouldn't have been able to have made this video. Delighted you enjoyed the video Violet.

I watched the greyghost video several days ago and I wondered if you were going to give it a shot. I wonder no more lol , you did it ! Like you said , it's surreal and it reminds me of some dream/nightmare sequences in some games I've played. Thanks for the guided tour of Farewell , it was something out of the ordinary.
@borislav24710 сағат бұрын
Thank you FM. I will still have nightmares about getting there though, lol. Ironically now, all the time it took to get there, has gotten me very proficient with frog jumping. Have made full use of this for an upcoming video very soon, lol.

I can't seem to get the second part of the frog jump to work out. But, damn is it awesome to see people able to get back to Fairwell Boozer would be jealous lol
@safetybeachlifeСағат бұрын
Yes it’s very difficult. I’ve managed to get it a few times, but like everything it takes a LOT of practice. Only only let L2 go when Deek has a little slip or glitch and it’s very subtle. As soon as that happens I let go and then pres L1and l2 together. Like I said only managed it myself a few times. Good luck !

How amazing would it be for this area to be playable in the remake?!! TY as always for the content.
@borislav24710 сағат бұрын
OMG, I hope they do include it in the remaster if they are making one. Apparently, the new IP game that Bend Studio was working on, has been cancelled (not sure how accurate the article is though). This lot can't seem to catch a break from Sony if that is true.
@senu452910 сағат бұрын
Most of the games have these opening cutscene places in their files so they keep them away from the main game map. Just like the Ghost Town in GTA 3. They are accessible via glitches if you can do them correctly. I never really attempt them because I don't have the patience to try and do it, but I do like watching videos of other people do it. Better them than me :D
@JBost-en9tq15 сағат бұрын
@Borislav247: I knew once Grey Ghost did a video on this, you would follow suit. 🙂Great choice of the thumbnail BTW. The floating tree is a nice touch! I assume the devs were using Farewell for experimenting with textures, backgrounds, and of course the cutscenes. It is also neat to see buildings that strongly resemble those seen elsewhere (for example, Sherman's Camp). Keep up the good work!
@borislav24710 сағат бұрын
Thank you JB. Greyghost Gamerz most certainly led the way on this one. Damn difficult to get to this place, but totally worth it.
