The story? The story was shit. The relationship between the hero and his wife felt more like brother and sister it's so badly written. You can tell way in advance what's going to happen, there are no surprises. It's long, boring, grindy and very average. there is never a wow moment (like in War Z with the hordes climbing walls). You don't care about any of the characters and the missions of wgoing from one end of the map to the otehr end of the map to just get a cut scene or a bit of dialog is pooly paced padding. Don't get me going on having 4 charcters call you on your CB moments after you get out of a compound, especially when i was just talking to them 1 minute before and they didn't mention anything. 6/10

I really like this game... I did feel a connection with the characters. At the beginning Deek was really irritable, but you see him evolve and at the end... the ending makes sense to me. It has ALOT of technical flaws and it is really slow... but at the end, I really enjoyed the game play and story.

I like this game but I 100% agree with everything said in this review. It has a lot of flaws-- there were so many things that could've been better on so many aspects of the game. The human AI is really bad-- that was the biggest disappointment for me as well. Games like Uncharted 4 had so much better AI and I excepted it to be somewhere close to that but it isn't. Despite all that, I don't regret buying it at all-- once you get into it it really gets better and the hordes are really challenging. I would say for me it's a 7.5 out of 10. I really appreciate the effort Sony Bend put into this game and all I would say is that this game is a heck of a first try for them-- so much potential that I actually hope that they make a sequel after paying attention to what we've said, take their time and do it even better. They did really good, but they have the potential to do great.

I agree that the story was really dragged. Like for example. Boozer was injured and bed ridden for like the first 10-15 hours of the game... Why? Why would they make him get injured right at the front of the story. That way he's barely in any missions /story for the whole beginning. They should have had him with you in the beginning to build the relationship and THEN get him injured

Sorry man, I gotta give you a downvote. I played this game for about 8 hours and I was bored out of my mind. I quit doing side shit that I didn't even care about and decided to just push the main story. I'm so glad I did because after 60 hours of this game, I love it. The pacing is really bad at the beginning but if you push through it, you'll find a fantastic story with great characters and moments. You should not review a game if you haven't beaten it imo. Deffo can see your point, and worth the $60 i can see why its more like worth $40. IMO i think its a solid 7/10 as i didnt encounter not as many bugs, as some say an there is alot of filler content but its much better than your standard ubisoft open world games, its a good 30+hours so cant complain, an compared to rest of the games this gen it does not feel great, but its still a good compelling game, considering it was made by 80 people for 6years compared to say RDR2 which has over 600people involved for 9years. But you got to remember where Bend studio came from, so you got to have faith in the studio to get the people an support from sony

TLOU A.I. is not exactly as bad as the one in Days Gone but it can get very close at times. The A.I. in TLOU is just so insanely inconsistent and definitely not just towards Tess and Ellie.

no game is worth 60 anymore these days especially if you are a pc player cause you get used to buying game keys for cheap online. i bought all my ps4 exclusives months after they get released i literally beat spider man 2 days ago god of war a couple months ago. still trying to beat horizon and im gonna start RDR2 soon. last game i paid 60 for was uncharted 4 so yeah its been a while lol
