I’m not the world’s biggest fan of Jezza, but this series on Amazon might give you a bit more of an insight into what’s going on in the fields around your beautiful home, and it’s hilarious too. I feel like you are glowing Gemma, you can literally radiating happiness , it’s so obvious where you are is really agreeing with you both 🥰 can’t wait to see the porch, hay bales would look amazing, though any form of farming implement, ie a pitchfork outside would freak me out and remind me more of the movie ‘Halloween’ rather than cosy vibes 😂😳 I do like the console table and I also think a lovely bench seat would have gone nicely there for sitting putting shoes etc on with maybe a smaller table next to it with the lamp etc . Be careful putting your reed diffuser on top of the wooden surfaces. The oil can sometimes affect the wood. I wrecked my coffee table 😭 so now I put it on a decorative coaster x

A couple 2, 3 bails of straw, A few corn stalks, Old style rocking chair, Lantern on straw, old quilt draped over the chair, old book open on the chair with some granny glasses sitting on book for starters. Pumpkins and leaves and such scattered around and ect... Maybe a tall large plant next to the hall table to conceal the plug. Happy decorating!!!

Having lived in the country myself - I agree with your mom. Be prepared for noise, dust and be particularly cognizant when they fertilize the fields. Keep your windows shut. It’s long term dangerous to be around the fertilizer so be careful. Everything is looking lovely. ❤️

I cannot wait for your autumn/winter hauls. I was in Home Sense yesterday and I spent about an hour sniffing all the candles and I was thinking I can’t wait to see all Gemmas autumn candles. You definitely should utilize little cute scarecrows, barrels of decorative apples/pumpkins, hay blocks, maybe corn husks? Blankets too! Fairy lights or teacup candles! Maybe put a bench under the window too

I literally grew up with my grandparents in the countryside and it had very strong impact on me. My dream is to live in the middle of nowhere which is impossible at the moment, however I have moved out of London to much smaller town and I feel way more happier now 😊 I just love nature and all the peacefulness it gives you ❤
