She's been battling with this for years & has been going through numerous treatments. When Covid hit and restaurants were pretty much closed, me and my husband ordered a take out of seafood (shrimp, scallops, clams, etc.) I packed some wine and dessert. We drove to a park we had never been to along a beautiful river and had a picnic! We had the absolute best time, and your suggestion reminded me we need to do this again. I remember my grandparents, my mom’s parents, taking my brother, our cousins and me to Huntington Beach State Park here in South Carolina and my grandmother had packed us a picnic lunch. This was probably 35 years ago. I think I remember that day because my grandfather decided to take us on the spur of the moment. Of course we always had cookouts in the summer for any and no reason

Oops I forgot to add,, that we do our picnics at home on Sundays with the family. My husband has a full size griddle and he cooks up the most amazing food we love sitting outside on the patio enjoying a delicious dinner we used to go on picnics Just the Two of Us but now with all the grandkids it's just easier to eat at home.
