Happy Birthday Bill 🎉 Bill had a beautiful voice. I remember he was working at a hotel/resort in Dolton, Illinois about 1966. He was singing in the lounge called The Ships Rail and I was a 20 year old coat check girl, my first real job. I was newly married and my husband (at the time) was a waiter, always a tuxedo. Bill was always polite and respectful, a gentleman. Lost touch when he became famous unfortunately. I wish him well 🥰

I am so deeply saddened to hear of the passing away of Bill Hayes . I watched Days Of Our Lives for many years & The character he potrayed as Doug Williams was a delight to Daytime serial. Susan Seaforth Hayes had the best love of her life on & off screen. Many favorite moments of them together as Doug & Julie. Bill Hayes many fond memories of you a great singer & talented actor. What a legend!! I turned 60 this year...my older sister..she's 69 watched Days....so I did too...I honestly can't remember my life without it...nor would I want too!!! Thanks to the character of Dr. Rolf I've seen some of theses characters pass away ..only to be resurrected a week.a year...4 yrs..lol..later...its never dull....so I salute the GOATS of the show....they paved the way for all the others to follow...sadly..we lost the great. Mr. John Aniston not long ago....he was part of the foundation..as is Mr. Hayes.....what a great show.....hopefully it remains on for people to watch!!!!
