Prior to any of the fans, me included, I recall vividly missing Drake on set, wondered was he ill. Suddenly there he was as John with Marlena in their LR discussing Brady & wanting to discover clues possibly to prove his innocence on the auto accident involving Sarah. It was then Marlena & John on their sofa discussing this I immediately saw a thinner, paler skin John, weight loss obvious. This is when I truly realized he has been ill for some time fighting. So sad for me 😢 hoping I was incorrect. About ten days later saw it posted Drake had passed away. Will miss him so much on the show as so many of his fans will. I feel for Marlena (Diedra)and the loss she's feeling too. Most sincere condolences to his wife, children, grandchildren. RIP DRAKE You were a star on set & will continue as a star above shining down on all those you loved. Sincere condolences to all of his costars too. ♡

This show hasn't been the same since the 2000s I watched it in high school and grew up watching the amazing diedra hall drake hogysten eileen davidson and much more. The drama that was on then was incredible. He was such an amazing character and man and my heart breaks for his family

I’ll still watch, But what’s so weird, I started watching because I read in soap opera digest years ago that Genie Francis from GH joined the cast of days and Was Roman / John blacks GF… before he knew he Wasn’t Roman… Then she left, But I was hooked because of Drake, he was so handsome… and he & Isabella, had great on screen chemistry. Then she died / left. But kept watching… actually stood in line for 3 hrs at a fan meet and greet to meet him. Will definitely be weird him not being on days anymore… 😞
