Finally feeling something other than pity and sympathy, a true feeling of kindred spirits among everyone in the community that has felt this same loss as me. My grandmother died of the same back in February. I had already heard the song before, but since then I found a relation to the song and after that I listened to more Dayseeker. This was my first song from them. Now I love the band and I plan to see them for the first time September 3rd (mad that VIP is sold out for that show 😭). Overall, Sleeptalk and Dark Sun speak so much to me and I'm ready to dive into their older stuff as well.

my aunt passed away on January 1st of 2020 due to cancer, it was absolutely heart breaking especially since she had promised to see me that morning. It happened so suddenly too, barely anyone could process what had happened. When I had first heard this song I cried thinking of her. The power in his voice is hard to find, especially with that kind of emotion. I’m so happy to have found dayseaker. 😭

My grandpa died in 2018 from his kidneys shutting down and cancer. He was put in the hospital the day right after Christmas. Even though it was 5 years ago, I still have a hard time coping with it. He was a huge part of my life, i think about him all the time and miss him daily. Thank you Dayseeker ❤️

My mother is in hospice, and has succumbed to stage 3 anal cancer. Chemo/radiation did its job, and destroyed her body. 2023 isnt what i expected.
