I'm 40. No man yet. No kids. Loving God. Continuily working on myself. Doing best I can to enjoy my life. Love serving in my community. Part of me is getting used to the idea I may never get married or have my own family even though I would like to. I'm open to date. I dated. Still in the dating market. I'm very social. I meet all kinds of ppl. I've been celibate since Sept 2004. I just won't settle. I want who God has for me if I were to get married.

A lady I work with is getting married(she's 61,never married). She never thought it would happen. She was in a "situationship"-not a real relationship for over 20 years. When she let that go she met her now fiance. The guy she was in the situationship with just died. Funny how life works sometimes.

It's a beautiful thing when you find a loving partner to share life with. However, it's important to acknowledge that you can be lonely in a marriage as well.

I agree. Marriage has it's perks, but can be misleading in the sense that you try to derive everything from that relationship. Unfortunately, that puts too much of a burden on the other partner and leads to disappointment.

Thanks for sharing. Just looking at the bigger picture. When a person puts their trust in GOD THROUGH JESUS CHRIST, THE HOLY SPIRIT WILL GUIDE AND COMFORT THEM in every area of their lives. Now comes a prayer of complete surrender using caps as emphasis to encourage the LEANING ON GOD THROUGH THE PERSON OF JESUS CHRIST. On a balcony of space STEPPED A PURE AND HOLY GOD. IN AWESOME SOLITUDE YOU STOOD ALONE. Not one faint star to give YOU light; just endless darkness, it was blackest night. But somehow in the darkness YOU COULD SEE. YOU SAW mountains high and lofty, YOU SAW valleys lush and green. YOU SAW babbling brooks, and wildflowers grow, YOU EVEN HEARD a robin sing. Then through YOUR COMPASSION STANDING OUT THERE IN YOUR TOMORROW, YOU SAW forum's visitors, their families and friends. 🥰 YOU SAW them as sinners (missing the mark resulting in their weaknesses prevailing causing guilt of wrong doing) because there is no intrinsic righteousness in any of us due to Adam’s sin. YOU SAW them as they grew from a baby into adulthood due to YOUR HANDS OF MERCY. 🥰 YOU SAW them pursuing a career path for the purpose of obtaining the gains of the world not realizing that it is a loss compared to what YOU DID on the cross. YOU SAW them working long and laboring hard to receive the grace by justification even though YOU stated, "This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent."(John 6:29 KJV) YOU SAW the unwillingness to accept YOUR PLAN OF SALVATION THROUGH YOUR SON JESUS CHRIST. YOU SAW them living with the guilt of committing crimes to the heart. YOU SAW them enduring personal crisis. YOU SAW the weight of the burden on their hearts with each tribulation. YOU SAW them seeking comfort from the above mentioned topography, ONE OF THE MANY MARVELS YOUR PERFECT HANDS HAVE MADE. 👏👏👏 YOU SAW their worries about tomorrow. If their hearts were a window that they could look through, oh the pains and scars they would see. What a cruel fate the skin gives as a mask to the inward pain. But the skin couldn’t cover THE SUFFERING YOUR ONE AND ONLY SON BORED on the cross as PAYMENT for all our sins because HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS ALONE HAD THE MERIT TO MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF YOUR HOLINESS. Indeed, ONLY HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS IS SUFFICIENT TO SAVE us from this present evil world as evidenced by Mary's song of praise. "And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord, And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour." (Luke 1:46-47 KJV) Awesome thanks to YOUR GREAT PARDON for being easy on the heart. 🥰 They have seen a lot of crazy things done in YOUR NAME. For example, the father of lies futile attempts to make crooked the right ways of the LORD to turn people away from faith in the WORKS OF JESUS CHRIST ALONE. How can anyone bear the thought of his or her life story detracting from the GLORY AND HONOR KNOWN TO BELONG TO CHRIST ALONE? As a consequence, YOU ARE A MYSTERY OF GREAT MYSTERY to them. Despite this conviction, YOU ARE MINDFUL of them as evidenced by the fact that YOUR JUDGEMENT is not speedy, allowing them to pursue the desires of the flesh. They are aware of hypocrisy in religious assemblies that like to be seen and heard. In addition, secular education teaches that there is no right and wrong, if GOD exists there is no way of relating to HIM, and moral standards shift according to the whims of fashion. Therefore, their minds are conditioned to question everything this world has to offer including “THY POWER THROUGHOUT THE UNIVERSE DISPLAYED.” They have accepted the heavy burden of dealing with the troubles of this life and seek to know another way, YOU THE GREAT COMFORTER TO ALL who did receive YOU as their personal SAVIOR. Still, YOU have shown them NEW MERCY every day with each thought they make and each breath they take. Unfortunately, like the prodigal son, we are all guilty of wandering far from YOU LORD because the negative experiences of our lives tend to build roadblocks to the TRUTH. As time marches on, JESUS CHRIST HELP them to identify the way, truth, and eternal life (that is YOU). Since to know and follow your SPIRIT is more exciting than any 007 movies, and YOU DELIGHT MAKING the ordinary into extraordinary. As time marches on, JESUS CHRIST MAKE them understand that there is no way around YOUR TRUTH, and that there is something about YOUR NAME. As time marches on, JESUS CHRIST HELP them defeat in their minds what is false in YOUR EYES. LORD GUIDE their thoughts to know that the path of sin is hard on their hearts for the purpose of crying out to YOU to know the joy, peace of having the heavy burden LIFTED by THE GOD OF PEACE I AM, and ANCHOR their souls in THE HAVEN OF REST. In other words, LORD use the storms in their lives to get a hold of them to trust YOU and believe. In truth, YOU ARE THE JOY that seekest them through pain. LORD HELP their fainting hearts to believe that YOU, who was slain on the cross over 2000 years ago has the POWER TO CHANGE lives today through the INSTANTANEOUS GREAT FAVOR from GOD to the house of Israel made known in believers by YOU to make YOUR NAME EVERLASTING. 🥰 For as the statue liberates the citizens so the cross liberates the soul. ONLY YOU can calm the trouble waters of the mind when one admits to wanting salvation from one’s sinful nature, JESUS IS LORD, and believes in the heart that GOD RAISED HIM from the dead TO LIFT the heavy burden of sin's guilt away from the heart in accordance to YOUR WORD found in Psalm 51:1-10 KJV. 👏👏👏👏👏👏 O, the wonder of it all to experience within the flesh the feeling of a tree being cut back/pruned in order for it to grow stronger and more beautiful after meditating on the words of said Psalm. 🥰🙌 LORD MAKE them know that ONLY YOUR HOLY SPIRIT, through the experience of a new birth within believers, can prevent the family circle from being broken because THE HOPE OF ETERNAL LIFE YOU HAVE GRANTED means a chapter of their lives is decided. Creation sings the rebirth song for them yearly, through YOUR PROMISE of springtime, giving rise to the idea that by the mention of YOUR NAME flowers grow, and the desert blooms again. 🥰 LORD GUIDE their understanding of words to use to come into YOUR PRESENCE with an honest reverence of WHO YOU ARE to experience the beauty that time can't erase YOUR WISDOM resting on their faces. LORD STRENGTHEN their determination to never waiver in efforts to search for YOU because the wages of sin is too high for anyone to pay. Additionally, THE KING OF KINGS is needed in their hearts to learn how to expand their capacity to love for YOU are LOVE in any language. 🥰 Once they learn to speak it with boldness through YOUR WONDERFUL COUNSELING all the world will hear, and know that LOVE is the language of their hearts. So LORD, KEEP KNOCKING on their door until they let YOU in to know hardships and struggles will end with a GREAT CELEBRATION WITH YOU. 🥰🙌 If one believes faith cannot be forced, YOU WILL GIVE that individual over to the stubborn heart to follow own counsel which will surely fail him or her to the extent that the punishment will last forever found in Psalms 81 NIV. Given this, I pray that YOU WILL MAKE that person see that this feeling is wasted for a world in which we become strangers as we age, gives us thrills instead of peace, aims to solve a problem but creates another, and unrest surges with each passing generation. Shed some light into their broken hearts for YOU ARE THE GREAT JEHOVAH, THE GOD THAT HEALETH thee. Lastly, LORD when they call on YOU in earnest prayer to come into their hearts to be born again (repentance manifesting itself in a changed life), I pray that YOU WILL GIVE them the blessed assurance of their salvation because nothing breaks YOUR HEART, or tears YOU apart like when they cry from the trials of the devil who comes to slander, falsely accuse, steal, kill & destroy. Only by drawing nearer to YOU LORD will put them on a path to a glorious one way trip winding upward to YOU where pain is not welcome because the heart will never break anymore. For ONLY YOU UNDERSTANDS our tears since YOU LOOK at the heart, while humans look at the flesh. O LOVE that will not let them go. When they don't have the strength to try, and have cried all they can cry hear their hearts that need YOU more today than yesterday. Many thanks LORD for speaking TRUTH in our lives TO BLESS those who are not offended by THEE. LET YOUR WILL BE DONE because YOUR LOVE ALONE CONQUERS everything by WAITING for them to cease struggling, and finally surrender to YOUR EMBRACE to learn about YOUR LOVE AND PROMISE TO TAKE CARE of your children exquisitely. 🥰 Since... "at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore"... (Psalms 16:11 KJV), and the nail print for them to know YOU by answering the following question. How did CHRIST LOVE people into a relationship with HIM? 🥰

Yeah, I think her message really helps answer that problem to our humanity. Do we desire time with God who is eternal and ever present with us or do we look to a spouse to serve in this role? It’s my understanding that only Christ can be our all in all.

I love that you featured a topic on singleness, particularly "late bloomers". I have had a hard time in the past feeling like I fit in at churches I have gone to, too old to be with young adults, and no experience with having my own kids or ever having been married. I have dated when I was younger, but nothing ever worked out. I had one long-term relationship and even co-habitated, but we were not equally-yoked to say the least. I have learned the hard way (letting my prime years whiz by) and have repented of that. I had gotten involved with someone when I had fallen away from God, but it lead me to rededicating my life to the Lord. What drew me to Jesus originally, what led to my salvation, was that He is a God of New Beginnings (Rev 21:5). I was 19 when I was saved. I know now, that set me on a path to be set apart. I asked God why I am still single. He told me that He wants me to stay myself. I have up until just recently, molded myself to whatever guy I was into to "guarantee" that I would be wanted by him, losing myself. Well, like I said, even doing that, nothing ever worked out, and I ended up missing myself somehow. It took until being 39 years old to finally be content just being single. I did what Christa did and just gave up on the desire to be married that I had since childhood. I felt God ask, "Are you making this decision from a dark place or from a place of peace?" I was giving up, just figured I was too old for this anymore, and the more I thought about it, it was coming from a place of sadness and hopelessness, and also from fear, fear of something else not working out again. So, yes, I was making this decision from a place of darkness. I realized I was making a wrong decision after talking to God about it and thinking more on what He asked me. Part of it was also that I didn't want to lose my closeness with God. Being where I am now and the path it took, I have never been so close to God in all my life. There is a silver lining to singleness, you have more freedom, more time to spend with the Holy Spirit. God has been so faithful and loving. I told Him, no guy is going to compare to Him. Then, I remembered, even in marriage, God is still first. Whether it is death in this life or being raptured, I go back to being just His ultimately anyway. If the Lord wants me to be with someone, then I trust Him. If I trust Him with a life of singleness, then I trust Him with a life in marriage. I trust Him with opening up my heart again to someone. I know He takes the state of my heart seriously, and He has taught me to do the same. I told the Lord, I waited this long for this desire to be fulfilled, and to open myself back up to it again, I don't want anymore wasted time, I want the right one, the one He has from me, no one else, or no one at all.

Thank you for sharing this. I can relate on so many levels and I'm also 39. There's just so much conflicting advice for singles. On one hand your told to pray without ceasing, but I find that can lead to an obsession with whatever it is you're praying for. Then if you "forget" about it, it seems like you don't want it bad enough. I can pray for something as difficult as parking spot in the middle of downtown Manhattan and get it immediately, along with other simple things, but something like this I've prayed for years for and nothing. I rationalize, He hears me. He hears all of us. We can't force His hand, nor should we try to. He'll answer the prayer and fulfill the need when He sees fit and not a moment sooner. We have to be ok with that.

Oh my gosh. I'm reading your words and it's as if I wrote them myself. Our experiences and thoughts are very similar. We are the same age too.👀 Wow. Your emotions are exactly what I've been going through. Not wanting o give up my closeness to God (things like talking to Him first thing in the morning soon as I open my eyes) or what you said about making a decision to stay single from a place of darkness. That was me too. I was weeping about it. Almost like mourning. It sounds over the top but that's how it felt. But also having a desire. That won't go away. It won't. I've stopped watching romantic movies or listening to songs...I've been trying to guard my heart emotionally....I have even considered becoming a nun (just don't ask 🤦🏽‍♀️😆). Boy I've gone through a whirlpool of emotions/ thoughts. Plus I had a few things from my past. I did not have a model for what a marriage should be etc. I've told the Lord I can seethe value in being single you can do so much for the kingdom. And lately I've been thinking yes but some people can do even more for he kingdom when they are together. Iron sharpens iron.

Hearing Christa talk about grieving the things that she thought that she may never get to experience during that year and a half brought me to tears...i can 100% relate to that. It's crazy because it's been on my mind more lately than it's ever been. But learning that there is no greater love story than the one God has for you is so promising. This is what faith is all about....those moments before the blessing. Even in uncertainty. Still trusting God, just builds such character. Thanks for this much needed conversation. I needed this gentle reminder to keep going. & to not focus on my singleness but what God wants from me during this beautiful time. :) God Bless!

And also how after she'd been asking for a husband for years then began to believe that she was already a wife, she was married less than a year later. CAN YOU BRING HER BACK AND DO AN EXTENDED show where you're not limited to 29 minutes. There's so much so much from the special guest AND the panel members - they have so much to offer as well. ALSO, many of your shows, I long for them to be longer - many topics and points to be made require more time - maybe have a short version, as well as an extended version because I realize that there may be ppl who see 59 minute show and just pass on it, so, maybe have both to serve the two kinds of people

I feel like I am in a good place right now and my relationship with the Lord is really growing, and I am growing so much in the love of God and in my identity and confidence as an individual. If the Lord brings a godly man in my life at this point, I feel I have something to offer and not just looking to take. Keep me in your prayers as I continue to seek the perfect will for my life.

Allyson Johnson from Healing Journeys and Charis Bible Channel here on KZbin, has an awesome testimony of someone telling her she was already a wife and when she began to believe that she was married less than a year later. She's now pregnant with their first child. She was also healed of Alopecia Universalis (no hair anywhere) after 14 years when she began to believe that she was already healed and didn't have to wait for it any longer.

Wow, her testimony is a word the Lord sent for me to hear right on time, it’s rare to hear anyone talk about it in such sincere and genuine way. When she talked about the things she was grieving about, I was brought to tears. Those are things I have been grieving about for some time now in my late 30s. I’ve been battling thoughts of perhaps not being good enough or pretty, this was such a blessing to my life. May The Lord bless Christa.

Oooph nooooo 😩 Not the “The Lord is your husband” scripture. Married ladies please don’t use that to try and make singles feel better. (Yes I’m aware that is an actual scripture in the Word.) God created marriage for a reason and we know this. Yes He supplies our needs, comforts, etc etc. but if He is a “substitute” for a spouse then none of you would be married because He’s “all of our husbands.” 🙂 Other than that, some good points were made in the conversation

Yet, there are some that do(thank goodness). I can't tell you how many married men who seek out single women in the church I stay away from groups ...it's a cesspool. Married women who have never been single more than a year have nothing to counsel or comfort me about.... Joni knows nothing about being single...

Happy to listen, grates me like nothing else that they have this idea and expectation that once a person is content, the spouse gets dropped into the picture. That's so untrue. Her message (before they rushed her), was she grieved ever getting married, NOT that it's a formula to a spouse. It's possible people DON'T get married, and the message they're unintentionally touting is that something is wrong with the single person if they're single. Ugh.

I always was under the impression, especially in my teens and 20s that in order to get married, or even date someone, I had to reach this spiritual state of 'perfection'. Like, the way Christians talk about it in sermons or books always made me feel like I wasn't good enough. God didn't love me enough. He was keeping me single to teach me a lesson or something. It wasn't until I was in my 30s that I realised it was a total lie. But even now, I will still see comments on YT like "God is keeping you from being 'found' by the right person because first of all, He wants you to see blah blah blah." Or 'God just wants you to be content and seek Him above all else.' There are Christians who get married, who are barely out of their teens. They've never had to rely on God and trust Him the way Christians who are in their 30s and over have. And there are older Christians who have a close relationship with God, and who have had to learn to be content on their own - for YEARS. And God still hasn't 'brought them the right person.'

@@emmib1388 Agree, that's important, but it seems to me that very often, scripture is taken out of context, misused, or misapplied to the situation, which can be incredibly dangerous for those concerned. So, you can know your Bible, but still be quoted that a wife must 'submit' to her husband, even if he is having an affair/watching porn/being abusive. Biblical texts have frequently been used to justify/excuse abuse and male predatory behaviour in the Church as well as silencing women and making them feel less than. There are best-selling Christian books on marriage and dating that have done those very things, which I find terrifying.

That daughter married her high school sweetheart and had two children… I call all four of them my children ❤. I stopped dating many years ago after it all just felt like a waste of time and effort. I have always been an introvert and am never lonely because I have so many other interests. I feel like a part of my heart is still open for the right person but, if I were to be honest, I feel like relationships are high maintenance and draining. If there’s a right person for me, I expect to not feel that way with him. Who knows, I could marry much later in life or just continue as I have been. I’m ok with either. I know that God will be with me in either case.

so true! This topic has been weighing heavily on my mind for the past two years and when I go to church all I see are young married couples so it's painful for me to see. I mean, I'm happy for them and genuinely happy to see my friends find their person. It used to be kind of inspiring, seeing so many godly young couples and older ones as well. But now I just feel left behind, like God forgot about me. I'm reminded of this pretty much every time I go to church. It's sad to admit but I'm just being honest.

I just feel like such an outcast in church. For years, I have sat in the same row of seats, next to the same people, and watched as other Christians who were all way younger than I was became a couple, then got engaged, then got married, then got pregnant, then had the baby and brought the baby to church, etc...

For that last one, I am thankful for the revelation that we are brought nigh to God by the blood of Jesus Christ. This reminds me that God is for us, not against us. He is merciful and righteous in His judgments especially since we are called to trust Jesus with our whole hearts.

But I often tell God the bible says it is not good for man to be alone but God it isn't good for woman to be alone either. It makes me sad.I am finding myself all alone now that my parents died because I had no other family. It changed everything.I find there is nothing wonderful about being single.I feel I will never have a family of my own by this time of life. That makes me so sad because I don't want a solitary life.I wanted my life to be full of children and grandchildren in my old age.But that looks less likely by this time of life.

I hope to get married before they ever pass because I know it will break me and I will truly be all alone. I know they say God is with us, that even though I'm single and my parents pass away God will still be with me but I'm not gonna lie, I don't want that for myself. I have always thought to myself that God will reveal my husband soon but I'm 31 and still single. All my church friends are married now which makes me feel like even more of an outcast. I've been praying for peace, peace that if God wants me to truly be single forever, then I pray he takes away the pain and the longing for a marriage. Anyways, I pray that you find joy and comfort in your life! You're not alone in feeling this way

I was getting ready to move out of state to marry someone and was at the mailbox with my two young daughters when my nine year old blurted out, "unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build." Well, she was just a kid, she didn't know the Word like that, so when I looked at her and said "why did you say that?" her eyes got real big and she looked shocked. The marriage was an absolute failure because HE WAS NOT GOING TO BUILD IT, NO MATTER HOW MANY PEOPLE PRAYED FOR US, NO MATTER HOW MUCH COUNSELING WE GOT, NO MATTER HOW FAITHFUL WE WERE TO SERVE. It wasn't His plan, as stated in this great video, purpose is involved. IF you've answered and stepped into a call and have received certain promises from Him, He has to do whatever is necessary to keep His word and fulfill His promises, including restricting you and disciplining you, and being involved in the details of your life in a way that He may not in others. This is a hard thing, but to whom much is given, much is required.

Better you see of Me my way to you than be all stuck on you now. Up for to Me! Not a time for despair, you can be up, you can be on. Can be seeing of Me to you, can feel very well done to. Not time to be in sorrow now! Not for being in lack, feeling undone. Not for sadness now! Up to Me in joy, believing on to you. Heard by Me, not sought for in vain. Not to be put to shame! Up for believing on bright, knowing I have you well. Can do in Me now, can be up for going on with the one for you. Thanking Me now! Up for change, seeing it by Me. Believing Me on now! Not told here to dash you but to encourage you on - you can be believing on now, having from Me for such. To have to tell of of Me! Set for sure now, believing. Not to be in despair, not right to be anymore. That season closed, over - see of Me instead! Change gear, take up, take in - move on for the new, not time to be looking to past failures now. Time to be looking up to Me! Because there is given you you can be thankful to Me - I do know the right way forward for you. Not to be down or sorrowful now because you need to be up for the next season in your life - believe to have it well done by Me. Have Me in on so much with you! Be believing Me now so I can treat you in line with such, faith making a way where there is no way to see. Up for such happening! Joy on now, up in Me, believing for from Me, given to you as you so wanted. Not too hard on you now! Trust you can take some good in that; God bless. Cheers Martin (Victoria, Australia)

I’ve done that ever since I badly broke someone’s heart in my early 20s and I decided I didn’t want to have to do that again. Thank you for affirming that aspect of my journey. I’ve found Covid lockdowns accelerated my journey through to contentment in singleness as I went through a period of a few years where I literally was not meeting any single men. I reached a place where I realised that I could either stay mad and upset with God about that. Or I could push into learning to be content in it and ask God what He had for me instead- best journey ever. I’m in my early 30s and I am extremely grateful that God took me on that journey when He did. X

Thank you for this message. However, so many today have been traumatized by deceivers who present as-"beings of light" , but were actually sent by the adversary. Many are forever changed by severe abuse , cruelty and evil deceptions that were not apparent in the beginning, actually occurred months, even years into their relationship or marriage. Many did not have supportive siblings or family support...or had a family that was kind to them, so lack of empathy ,lack of support, and mental abuse is viewed as somewhat normal in their adult relationships. It truly helps to have a kind supportive family who cares about you, and to put the Lord and His commandments first in your life, so to avoid deception.

I read Christa’s book and I loved it soo much! It spoke to me in volumes ❤❤. The lady who spoke about not being married “until” she was 33…🙄. Not to take away from her experience, but many of us are in our 40s, 50s and like Christa said, the lady in her 60s…We’ll take that 33! 😊

You are right! Thirty years for me and now three years out. I am healing from all the evil he brought to my life and my daughter and every day I am so thankful God got us out. I pray for you to get out too. May God open a door for you to remove yourself from that person. I had to start over at 56 with Multiple Sclerosis AND a disabled young adult child, but we are free and happy. God provide for every need. Sending you love and strength. ✝💐❤🕯🙏🏽💛

Sometimes I wonder if these seasons are actually tests. I'm getting a Abraham and Isaac vibe in my head right now......I know it's not the same thing but....maybe Isaac represents the desire we want or wanted for so long and I wonder if God is saying lay it down on the altar for me. Trust me. Have Faith. Without faith it is impossible to please God.

I am so tired of the narrative that everyone needs to be married by 20 or 30 years old. Enjoy your life! Travel, meet people, get a hobby, share the gospel, volunteer instead of waiting on a man to come by and pick you up! Get a life! They will be singles in heaven. Everyone is not going to be married but that doesn't mean that your life has to come to a complete halt! That doesn't mean that you don't have purpose! Marriage is just one aspect/season of some people's lives! The purpose of marriage is to fulfill the call of God on your life! So start seeking your purpose in life! Start pursuing the call upon your life and stop worrying about the rest. Yes, I can speak because I am 49 no children and not married!

It's funny but also relieving 😌 that I don't have kids now because it would be too much of a headache. I'm 31 and I'll be 32 this spring . I've had people ask me if I'm married or have kids and I tell them no and then , they say good! You got time for that later on. I think the reason they say this is because I look very young. I don't look my age at all. I do want marriage but God comes first and my first love will always be God nobody else. 🙏 I feel at peace when things are just smooth and not by my own understanding. Never lean on your understanding and keep God first . He'll give you the desires of your heart if you keep praying and believing. The scripture states that man shall not be alone , however, there's alot of people who dont desire marriage. It is all according to God's will .

To parent adult single children, take an interest in their interests and lives without any agenda of your own. Lean on God yourself for your unfulfilled desires for them. God’s plan is higher than your plan. They can’t manufacture a spouse out of thin air. Being asked about it, even occasionally, is frustrating because we can’t make him appear any more than you can. And don’t lament your perception of their inadequate life because they are single to them- ever. We have those moments ourselves, and need family to listen if we go there, but be a support that God really is good, and that His plan for us will work out as we live in His love. Those moments are few and far between, at least in my life, and it’s not my role to make others feel good about what they think I should be doing or have that God has not yet supplied. If you really care about that for us, pray until that prayer gets answered, and take notice in the meantime that we are actually having a great time living in full freedom to love Him and others.

I think u can consider being an adoptive partner so that way u will nit fall into sin via fornication and can still be the mother u always wanted to he, but l do understand that many people want their own biological children so the choice is up to u since God gives us freewill to make our life choices.

I got married for the first time at 40. I also decided to be content & happy in Jesus if I remained single. The Lord taught me not to focus so much on my desires given by Him as to genuinely, without agenda Delight purely in Him (Psalm 37vs4)...I did this & was consumed with getting to know Him & learning about the supernatural realm of God...& amazingly God brought my husband into my life!! Be encouraged my brothers & sisters, that God is in the details of our lives & wants the best for us & has a plan for each of us! Trust Him with all your heart ❤️ Much love

Adam was in the presence of God yet the Lord saw he was lonely very interesting. I believe every man when he finds his true soul mate a wife then he will be complete. Am 43 and I believe one day adonai will send me the wife he sees is right for years I was in the world lost and felt rejected and an orphan but thank be to Jesus has brought me back God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob I owe you everything.

Do you believe that if you desire marriage, then God will just 'send' you a wife? What if God doesn't act that way? The reason why I'm asking is because I'm concerned about the number of Christian women who make it to their 30s without ever being asked out on a date. If guys just assume they don't need to take any action whatsoever, then maybe they need to realise that they're not being godly in refusing to take responsibility - and that God may not act according to their wishes and drop a woman from the skies into their arms.

@sawyerlovesfreckles see your point sister I would be first to ask the woman If God showed me that's your wife son. I lived in sin for years with different women because of pain trauma rejection and the orphan spirit I wasn't mature at all for a relationship plus there was a generational curse of divination over my bloodline the Lord is delivering me and my family now as we speak but I ask jesus to give me more wisdom and discernment on this matter and other matters as well God bless you sister

It is wonderful to share life with someone equally yoked for the glory of God. Often believers ask God for things and receive quickly and easily and yet no answer in regards to loving spouse. Perhaps it is time to review the prayer. A pastor said a woman praying to God for the conversion of her husband so that she will have a more loving husband. Instead of praying that her husband is converted so God's will is fulfilled and God is glorified. God is not included in her prayer. He said there is even pastor who prays that his church members increase so his position is secured instead of members increasing for the glory of God. Imagine, if God is glorified by the increased of the church's members, so will his position be secured or even promoted to Senior Pastor. So please review your prayers and ensure whatever you ask God is glorified and pleased. The best way to enjoy life is when God is glorified through our daily living. May every petition of all believers glorify and please God. Many blessings.

I just turned 60 and have never been married. It was my only dream...to be married and have a family. I almost destroyed myself and my relationship with God was strained because of it. I wanted to be in full time ministry with my husband. There came a moment when I said "even if you never send a husband I will still love you". Instead of waiting for a ministry partner I moved forward to serve God in ministry on my own. You can do the same thing. When you serve God it fills your mind and heart. You won't have time to feel lonely. Ministry can be anything from full time to being a friend. It's never too late to start.
