Hey Jaclyn! I know it's not something you really do, but I was wondering what you do to keep your skin, not only on your face, but your body, so flawless! And also how you stay so thin! I think it would be really cool to make a video that takes your fans through what an average day looks like for you. Like what you eat, drink, what workout routine you have (if one at all), what body products you use both in and out of the shower, what hair products you use both in and out of the shower, and even extras! Like if you wax, get massages, meditate, or pamper yourself! I think it would also be really cool to tell us your interests and hobbies! I love your videos, but I sometimes feel like I want to know you so much better! I think it would just be really fun and interesting for your viewers and maybe even encouraging or inspirational. I know I find myself on the couch a lot with nothing to do, but if you were to come out with a video like this? I feel like it would give me goals and inspire me! I've been following you for a little bit over a year and you have changed the way I do my make up, see makeup and myself and I just love the the person you are. I know you posted this a while ago but I wear glasses too sometimes and I find that smoking out the lower lash line with a colourful liner and shadow and keeping the top lid fairly neutral looks amazing! Really stands out under glasses! Hope that helps if you haven't tried it already!

Hey Jacylyn. Love this look as usual! I have a question.. Anytime I buy a new foundation whether its Loreal True Match Lumi or Revlon Colorstay or any other foundation it always oxides on my face so bad that it no longer matches my body. It always looks way to pink and dark. The thing is once i apply it in front of my window in the morning it looks fine but then after about 10 mins, and i go outside in the sun, it looks horrible!! any suggestions?

I have the same problem. Since my neck is naturally darker than my face I use a lighter foundation and I set it with translucent powder. On my neck I apply just a bit of contouring powder. In this way, when my face starts "changing" the colours am ok. I have to do this also on my eyes! Too faced primer, concealer/highlighter, white eyeshadow and then the colours I like. This is the only way for me to let my make up last for hours! Am very oily and my skin is very particular. When I buy a new foundation what I do is choose one that matches my skin and then buy the lighter tone (maybe n3 foun. Is perfect but I buy n 2) P.s. My english is not really good but I hope you understood anyway.

You may need to try a high-end foundation. I use the tarte Amazonian clay foundation and it NEVER oxidizes so it matches me perfect all day long. If you're looking for something a little less on price though you may want to try any bareminerals foundation. They never oxidize and they have many formulas. But if you really want to stay in the drugstore price range I recommend the Cover Girl 3-1 foundation! This stuff is amazing as well. It's the only drugstore foundation I have ever really liked !

Match the foundation to your neck instead of your face. Also, if you have more of pink undertones buy a foundation with more yellow undertones or the other way around. Make sure to prime your face and also set it with a powder once you're done applying it because that sets in your skin and making a difference. Set it with a setting spray so it looks like it did when you first applied it. It'll make it look like you just applied it even though you did so long ago.

I read a really great tip somewhere on youtube land about finding your perfect match with a drug store brand. Since you can't try out drug store brands before you buy them, go to a MAC counter and have them match a shade for you. They will try a few different shades until they find the perfect match. Then ask for a small sample and take that to the drug store and buy the closest match to that color.

I second this! Not for me as I'm very fair, but I would love to see YT makeup artists use models of all different ethnicities to really demonstrate their look. Jaclyn often says this will suit all colours etc but without knowing the types of colours and products its a bit hard to just say that and know it. On Jaclyn's vlog she did when she was in California, she did makeup application on a girl. I REALLY liked seeing her do it on someone else - it's a bit more effort because you have to organise it with someone else, but I really think it would be beneficial, and something different from the ordinary. She has SO MANY fans that would jump at the opportunity, and I really can't see a downside to the whole thing. It would really help many girls/guys out. Please think about it ***** ? xoxoxo

Instead of always sunny pro long wear eyeshadow from mac get the uninterrupted one, it's gorgeous on darker skin! Also try saddle also by mac or even swiss chocolate as transition colors! I also love corduroy and red brick :) Makeup geek frappe is nice but I don't know.. I don't like it as much as my mac colors. I'm in the shade 153 in mufe hd foundation so I believe I would be a mac nc40/42 (don't look at my profile pic cause I used to be as pale as hell!)

Try using the 3DHD more like a paint brush, with long strokes in an up and down motion using both faces of the brush, like painting a fence lol (I hope that made sense) it blends out much more quickly that way, even faster than the F80 with the same airbrush finish. It buffs foundation into the skin better with that motion I feel. The 3DHD and YSL fusion ink are a match made in heaven for all those oily girls out there.

It's a pretty look but I wouldn't class it as everyday, maybe if you work in a make up oriented environment. This takes a long time to achieve and even though she is very good at make up, I feel these particular shades fit her well because she has red hair. If you look at her hair and eyes, it all blends well together. So in my opinion the colors can be altered to maybe suit the color of your hair. Her eyes are also green, which pop a lot and bring in focus to her eyes. So if you got red hair and green eyes this will defo work but; if you dont then i think the colors can be manipulated to suit your feature needs.

it's not exactly "drugstore," but a fairly affordable option that has these same kinds of shade plus more would be the morphe 35k palette. I just got it for $23 plus shipping, and I love it!

"if you can operate a blending brush..." aaaand that's where I'm out. I totally suck at blending and I feel like not even your videos can help me, so I'm basically helpless. I'm so super pale that every time I try to blend something into my crease it looks like I've been punched in the eye.

Have you tried any Makeup geek shadows? They are so creamy! They blend out super nice to barely visible which would be perfect for lighter skin tones :)

hey peach smoothie would be a great transition/crease color for pale skin. :)

You might be using too much product on the brush! Use the smallest amount of product to start and build from there and use a very light hand!!!!!

I agree with Chelsea, you might be using to much! Seriously, the slightest bit of shadow does wonders when it comes to blending. :) always start light, and then build up if you need to! :)

does anyone who uses a pencil brus to blend out the under eye notice it starts to irratate? she says to do it for a min to really blend it.. im not doing it too rough.. it always irrates my under eye..

Natalie Partipilo so what do you do?? i have the sigma penicl brush and also the mac.. i have the flat definer but that doesnt really buff it out rather than give a straight line of product.. im 31 so i dont want to creat more lines under the eyes than i already have lol

Try a synthetic pencil brush instead. They're much less irritating and work just as well if not better. Sigma makes a great one, the E30S.
