Thanks for the ride through Daytona and area. Hog Heaven is good I recommend the barbecue sauce with mustard in it. Have you heard of the restaurant Hamptons in Daytona or Ormond Beach I believe along Highway 1? It was NASCAR decorated and was locally famous for fried chicken. Is it still there?

There’s a Hamptons Restaurant on Mason Ave in Daytona. It’s still open. The Hamptons Drive-In in DeLand on 92 is closed

Frequent washing, and keeping it in the garage when not in use.....but some spots rust anyway

Hey Mike. A friend and I are flying over to Orlando in 10 days to start our 21 day ride across the USA from Daytona to San Francisco. We're heading in to the Keys for the second night but then back up to Daytona for the third night before we set off West. Any hotels you can recommend that are reasonable and close to the beach? We're going to have a paddle in the Atlantic and then in the Pacific when we get there :)

Friends of mine from Germany stay at the Hampton Inn on the beach, in Daytona Beach Shores, whenever they’re in the area. They’ve never had a complaint about it yet. I’m not sure of the price, but it’s currently Bike Week so todays prices might be higher than when you might be in town. I hope that was of some help
