Its been a while, and there is a good reason for that, just like how there is a good reason why there is no other KZbin video with anyone using the Phantom on the expert track with the Phantom as far as I know at the time of upload. This is a MASSIVE step up in difficulty from advanced gran prix.
Despite the fact that tires wear faster while drifting, you have to drift a lot using the Phantom, because that's how you take turns fast with it, at least for high speed corners. For corners you take at 230 kph (about 137 mph) and lower, however, you can take them without drifting with minimal time loss, so you'll want to do that to preserve your tires, and also shift to 1st and then quickly back to 4th in the middle/near the end of a corner so you can drift for only a part of those corners and get some sweet mini Scud Race drift exit boost upon corner exit.
The Phantom can still take most corners pretty fast even with worn tires, but that doesn't mean you don't have to take tire wear into consideration. You probably will want to take some corners more slowly with worn tires, most notably, the park 270 and to a lesser extent, but still surprising, the non-downhill tunnel corner.
You have to keep the gas mostly floored to go fast while drifting, so there's no way you will be able to save enough gas by coasting a lot so you can pit on lap 6; so don't worry about conserving gas.
I also have some other tips. If you are having trouble getting the Phantom to drift, keep the gas floored while in 2nd, and then shift into 4th when necessary; and that leads into my next point. When you want to gain speed while drifting, shift to 4th, and then downshift after you exit the drift if necessary. You can also rapidly shift from 4th to 2nd and back to 4th while drifting to make it so you can keep a mostly stable speed while holding accel so you can more easily stay in the drift. This is most useful as an in-between for full throttle drifting and no throttle drifting.

I'm already impressed with how the drift at 0:37 doesn't end in a complete disaster; it shows how absurd the thing actually seems to drive and you really managed to keep the Phantom at control even with those angles in all of the drifts you end up taking in the track. Congratulations!!! I still have to go back to finish Advanced Reverse and Expert Reverse with the Scorpio; I think I would only be able to beat Beginner with the Phantom (which even then I still haven't done IIRC) with how tough it is to use in other tracks, so this is quite the run for me to watch :)

⁠@@doodle4503So in manual mode, you shift the gears and then turn. If the gear shift joystick doesn’t work, no worries. There are gear shift buttons!

13:34 the combination of sound cues, completing a lap, the final time extension audio cue, and the songs bass drop in such a small amount of time gives out so much “Final Push” energy. Like you are nearing the finale, you get that sudden rush of adrenaline. I fucking love it.

Man, even those Next level driving skill you pull off and those tight management of Tires and Gas, The 2nd car never fall off much behind. I thought The only difference of cars are speed and handling difficulties, didn't knew opponents would be much tougher to compete. It almost seems impossible, But you pull through!

The issue with using Hard and Normal car is they use tires way faster than Easy cars which it can be shown that in each lap already degraded by 1 level and on 5th lap, its already become red which is extremely slip and understeer alot on each corner. On Normal cars, it takes about 60-70% of race (if fuel permitted) to make tires reach red level while on Easy cars, it need entire race to make it red level. As for Hard cars, it just goes away in 50% of race duration. This track is really long and thats unforgiving for Hard cars while Easy and Normal cars have no issue at all.
