It hit the HOD momentum scanner on Day Trade Dash. I’m actually the member who Ross mentioned at 33:37. I didn’t actually get the full $10/share. I got in at $2.15 and was waiting for it to break $12 but never did then stopped out when it pulled back to $10.15 so actually got $8k on that trade with 1k shares. I lost $1k on WRNT though so net +7k on a $17k account.

Ross said when it is going up and it halts, after the halt it will normally continue to go up. Vice Versa if its going down and halts, it will continue to go down once it resumes.

Don’t look at the $ so much as you look at the % you gained in my opinion. 10% compounded would be 8 trades to double, rather than 10 trades not compounded. 10% is good and saves you 2 trades. Congrats on your success!

I started the day by holding SYTA at a loss of $110 from yesterday (I broke every rule I had set for the day…) in hopes it would climb up a bit, and it did and I decided it was finally time to cut my losses at $87 and start fresh. I got off to a rough start and at my lowest, my account was at $275, but I got focused and made about $250 today trading SLRX, GPAK, and AZTR. So my account totaled $525 when I decided to walk away.

Morning routine: 1. Check the Top Gains Scanner 2. Look for the Bullish Flag or Micro Pullback patterns 3. If it’s early enough and the Bullish Flag is strong I’ll jump in for a 0.10 cent gain. 4. If it’s a Micro Pullback I’ll wait to see the next green candle after the Pullback and if it’s strong enough I’ll jump in for a 0.10 cent gain. 5. If it’s about an hour before Market Open and I have either pattern in the top gainers (top of the list is better) I’ll jump in for a 0.10 cent gain.
