I’m just realizing how amazing this game is. Started off in a high pop server and got basic gear, switched to a low pop server and wound up right behind another player. At first I thought I’d try to chat, and maybe gain an ally. Something told me to shoot. I had a mosin and put one in his back. This man had everything I could possibly need. MP5, FNX45, skorpion, sawed off, full military outfit, canteen, plenty of mags and bullets. He also had a shit ton of human steaks on him so I’m guessing maybe he wasn’t a friendly player.

@@loomissimool8070 the servers that have active admins usually have a whitelist that you get past by joining the server discord. And usually those are roleplay only. I'm in a server called 8002. Its run by a guy named jilly. I dont know if they have admins but there is a pretty active chat so you can usually find out who did what cause almost everyone in it are on the discord

@@loomissimool8070 servers like this on console. It seems after a while some type of drama happens and the whole server implodes on itself because everyone is arguing and it becomes lawless anyways. My wife is continually having this problem as she likes to play on servers with discord and rules. Me myself, I prefer official with no rules, I just feel it was the way the game was !want to be played. But to each their own! Good luck

DayZ Day 1: Found a knife, and some rags. Killed an infected. Starved to death, because I couldn't figure out what button to use to eat the pear I was holding. Day 2: Figured out how to eat. Found a rider jacket, rubber boots, police pants, box of ammo (.38 cal), two magazines for two different guns (no gun), a portable generator, netting, goat hide, motorcycle helmet, strawberry jam. Didn't die.

@@savageacro6359 the Skyrim UI is way more organised and easier to move and adjust things... when you have multiple containers/bodies close to one another it can be difficult moving items from one container to another, that is if it doesn't glitch out and you're unable to select anything from one container

PC has AMAZING base building!! You can literally build everything even actually homes if you want, you have many different blue prints to go buy, and can craft unaidable bases. "MODDED SERVERS" PC is the way to go in dayz 100% I was on a server the other day were you can buy your own castle!!! I could never imagine playing dayz on console, that would be like playing call of duty on a black berry lmao

I play on a verizon hotspot that only gets 400kb/s and its not bad at all, just gotta understand to loot loot loot and find a car or a good base site, OH and whenever you sign off keep your valuables on your body

It's not that bad hold x if you want to move something (continue holding) press R1 and L1 to move between the vicinity, ur hands, or your inventory. Press R2 or L2 to move between your jacket/pants/backpack. And finally release x when you are hovering over where you want the item to go. Press triangle to equip things to your body. Hold x to equip to hands. You can put one stack of bullets in your hands and hover over the same type of ammo and press b to combine them

Don’t get me wrong the inventory system seems whack, but itll grow on you sometimes when I use it compared to my K and M its sometimes faster when it comes to grabbing a gun off your back in your inventory. When it comes to inventory management Ill give pc the win

Logan Martinez Your internet doesn’t seem to effect fps when I play this game or like laggy gunfights it doesn’t really have much of an effect if you better internet. Having around 3 MBS or lower on download speed your character will stand still on peoples screens and zombies which is pretty annoying when your running from a horde and you cant do anything till you wifi catches back up, which they can still attack your frozen character model

Just played my first game, it was great! Couldn’t find any gear, got a sickness, and threw up all food I tried to eat. Health slowly depleted til I died..... SO MUCH FUN!!!!!

The gas stove with a pot has become hands down my favorite way to cook. You keep your food inside the pot. Pot holds water and when attached to the gas stove and canister it doesnt take up any extra space. Still the basic 12 of the pot.

A word to all noobs. One thing not mentioned in the video. All these items you can craft wear out over time so don't think your made after youv got a improvised fishing rod etc. After only a few uses it will be worn, then after a few more it will be ruined. So you will be constantly hunting for new supplies.

You can cut trees down with a wood saw, and you can craft your own planks by chopping down a large tree and using a saw on the tree trunks, also you need to put water in your cooking pot or you will burn your food

Definitely do a base building...I been playing this game for 3 or 4 years...and I just found out in this video about the spear...thought it was only pc and I play on Xbox. Thanks looking forward to the base building video...I know alot about it, but I'm excited to see what there is I don't know. I always grab a dry backpack to carry heavy equipment in so take a crate and put it in the backpack and it doesn't slow you down with the animation

I started playing when the game came to gamepass and have not really had any luck with loot so I don't know much at all about crafting either. Haven't even found a small stone yet even after 5 different characters I've played and died as and one day I ran down a train track for a good 20 minutes! The inventory system is also kind of a pain on Xbox. But I recently got the IZurvive app and have been watching some guides like yours so hopefully my luck will change soon!

I love this game, I have devoted many hours to this game on ps4, we need this new update because the gameplay is getting stale, especially with the bugs when driving cars and stuff. I'll be happy when the new update comes if it just fully fixes the car physics and the bugs when looting dead players bodies. I'm all for new content but why add new things to the game when the previous added things (cars) are still buggy as hell.

I finally got a setup to fish the other day (Xbox) and it was about same time I finally lit my first fire. I caught a mackerel. I was all set up and for some reason I couldn’t cook my fish. I could cook anything else but not fish. It even has a fish icon at bottom of long stick and it still wouldn’t let me place fish at end of stick. I got so aggravated but kept the fish and tried another couple times down the road. Same thing so I just tossed my mackerel and ate some chicken.

Hope it helped! There are a few new things. Two bones can make a bone knife, combining a bone or stone knife with a long stick makes a spear. You can make an IED with a protector case and an electrical repair kit. After that you can attach up to two explosives and a detonator of some sort (kitchen timer, alarm clock, or remote explosive detonator)

It crafts one item and that would be the wooden crate wich is the simple storage. Not two storages. Just the one wooden crate. Srry lol. They should either make small stones spawn all over like on Ark. Or they should update fresh spawns to where they spawn with a survival knife in their "fresh spawn kit"

they used to spawn everywhere. you just go to the beach and click the ground to pick up a rock. they changed it for some reason. it was same with sticks. you could use ground in forests to get short sticks... if you want rocks nowdays just follow train tracks, you will stumble upon rocks sooner or later but you will probably find a knife soon as well
