If you sit still near a trail or a train track for a few minutes then look around you might have a better chance of finding one, because they spawn in near players who aren't moving fast to reduce lag I think

Yeah they're extremely rare for just being a rock. I think they spawn in behind you or near you usually, so if you sit next to a forest trail or a train track for 5 mins and then look around near where you were sitting you might have a better chance of finding one.

It's the same thing with mushrooms/fruit trees, if you're going fast, you will have to backtrack some small distance to find any. Going slow, and steady, and they spawn on top of you.

I had a base on that Island on official about three patches ago. Actually lasted a little over two weeks. Island is tier 2 as well. Gun cleaning kits and blazes all over the place.

I play it on PS5 in that game falls apa rt now 33% of the time. It's improving I think? If you're going through uneven terrain like going up or down, you'll fall into the map. In towns when there's a lot to render, if you turn fast some things have to load back in. When you first load in you can spot gear and other players, it works well if you're high up in a building or on a roof. Also on PS5 with the worm you have to have hook in your hands and combine it from the ground because it won't combine in the menu Or something like that. Or maybe I was just stoned. And sometimes you get stuck in doors. But there's no game like it. And it's a lot of fun. the Xbox version working great.

I had no idea about fishing up a cooking pot, that's incredibly useful. The rest I do regularly because I like to play DayZ as a primal nomad and see how many geared Chads I can take out with my primitive bullshit. Now, I've died more times than I can count in this adventure, but I've managed to kill 23 different geared players with nothing but improvised weapons and guerilla tactics lol

And here's how you do it on rust. step 1: spawn on the beach step 2: beat someone's skull in with a rock step 3: die step 4: die again step 5: grub a gun off of someone step 6: farm and make a base step 7: kill one of the nearby clan members and watch all 37 of them log on with 100+ rockets and instantly foundation wipe your base.

sickness kicks my ass in dayz. i’m new and only play official, and i swear to god i’ll get a wound infection for no reason every single game. I’ve only ever used spawn bandages and i always check to see if the ones i pick up are disinfected which they are. but out of nowhere i get the icon and my screen goes blurry and i’ve only ever manage to find tetra once. heres how i do it spawn and almost instantly die to a zombie get some food and punch a chicken cook it start to go inland get lucky and find more food look around either get sniped, swarmed by zombies, or live if i live i just run around until the other 2 happen
