No. They were band mates in the World Class Wreckin Crew and co-Producers in NWA. Yella never studied under Dre per say. He was always around and adding his input where necessary. That’s why when Dre left Yellas production didn’t really take off. He had a few projects he produced on and most notably “Foe Tha Love of $” off Bone’s first album Yella did it. i love Daz, but im bout tired of hearing "Back Then", this jawn sounds like a Mike Jones song! I just wanna hear NEW Music from DAZ ! Why hasnt he produced ANYTHING NEARLY as dope since then? Even Warren G came back & blessed Young Jeezy With That "Gotta Leave You Alone" with Ne-Yo & it became a hit!! Start shopping them beats around Daz Dilli!!!! lol its all love! im still tryna get me 1, so i aint hating, just wanna hear the legends new work!

The reason is Priest and Death Row musicians are not producing his beats anymore. They havent produced a Daz beat since the 90s. You will never hear a modern Daz beat that sounds anything close to the s&^^ that Priest and other Death Row musicians did for Daz. Daz is a fake producer who put his name over every beat that Priest did. Of course Daz will always live in the past. Because thats all he got. He doesnt have new beats to shop to anyone. Because he wasnt producing anything

@@dianevrules I've seen you comment on other videos about Daz saying the same thing. How do we know if what you're saying is true or not. I agree that Daz's catalog post DR can be mediocre. But all producers fall off at some point. What has Priest put out recently? Did Daz do Whoopty Whoop off the Death Row Summer release because that was pretty fire.

@@DubTee7Chronic 2001 and his work on Ruthless says that's a lie. Dre was doing his thing before and after them. With that said, I'm glad Daz got to move to the forefront around 95 or so because he had a great sound and Warren G absolutely did his thing solo.
