I’m from Philly and know 187 came to ruthless a musical genius. He wasn’t a student of Dre. Dre want doing funk until they linked up with ATL. That funk shit is one of the reasons I enjoyed Nighaz4life more than Str8 Outta Compton and way more than the Chronic. The Chronic was the shit back in the early 90’s but I can only tolerate a few songs now-but I still enjoy most of Str8 Outta CPT and the whole Niggaz4life. Anyway, you brothers have a good one.

No. They were band mates in the World Class Wreckin Crew and co-Producers in NWA. Yella never studied under Dre per say. He was always around and adding his input where necessary. That’s why when Dre left Yellas production didn’t really take off. He had a few projects he produced on and most notably “Foe Tha Love of $” off Bone’s first album Yella did it. He wasn’t up on the production like Dre.

The reason is Priest and Death Row musicians are not producing his beats anymore. They havent produced a Daz beat since the 90s. You will never hear a modern Daz beat that sounds anything close to the s&^^ that Priest and other Death Row musicians did for Daz.
