Imagine, you’re fighting him one on one, the entire surrounding area suddenly turns into blades, the sunlight bounces off of them and glares into your eyes blinding you for a split second, and you just hear the screeching and scraping of metal on metal, as Daz Bonez rushes toward you while skating across the blades with ones of his own on his feet, and dragging his arm and finger blades on the walls. sounds blood curdling damn,,, and it would be awesome if him scraping his blades against the environment blades would just make both of them sharper- so that even if he misses you and hits the ground or wall it just increases the deadliness of his abilities

I think you've forgotten about Daz Bonez true weakness, the Rust Rust Fruit. Buggy is more of an immunity, not a weakness because Buggy's Fruit doesn't do anything to hurt Daz Bonez.

The Rust Rust Fruit is easy to forget given how little time Shu was in the manga for. Almost easy to forget he and his fruit were canon. If he were to return as like a Vice Admiral having trained with his fruit he could be a true threat to all sword men, yet I wonder if Oda even remembers him.

Zoro can just sheath his swords and fight with his Zero Swords Style against such an opponent and if Zoro can do such a thing then I'd be surprised if other high tier swordsmen like Mihawk and Shiryu couldn't do it.

We will never know how powerful such a power could be in the right hand as it is likely going to be forgotten forever. So it's a pointless hypothetical. I still see the rust rust fruit as a lost opportunity, something we will never see the full power of. Which is bound to happen in the world of One Piece.

The design of Mr. 1 doesn't give me the impression of him being a swordsman. Instead, he reminds me of those Shaolin monks that train their bodies to the point that their various body parts become weapons. Also very nice SPQR shirt Trekking. Gold in a dark blue background is really nice.

To be fair, that does fit him. His devil fruit allows him to take that a step further and literally turn any part of his body into a literal weapon. A strong body combined with a fruit that fits him is the impression I receive looking at him.

I don't think his fruit actually makes him immune to slice attacks like it was explained at the beginning of the manga for simplicity purposes. Buggy probably has to use future sight the same way we got to see in the Luffy vs Katakuri fight.

One of the major benefits of a weapon is that the extra length and leverage acts as a force multiplier. A longer weapon can get a lot more force out of it. Since the blade is part of your body, you'd get less force behind your attacks. It's still lethal against most people because it's sharp but, between the reduced range and force, S. Hawk probably wouldn't beat Mihawk.
