Death Row was predominantly run by Bloods, and the Dogg Pound (Crips) just happened to be the talent bringing in the most hits. Around that time, I think the way Suge was running Death Row had many of the Dogg Pound members, including Snoop, questioning their allegiance, personal safety and financial security under Suge's leadership. If he were to bounce for whatever reason and leave Death Row, he didn't want Pac's new allegiance to a business of Bloods to stop him from working with him in the future. That was real talk, and happened(still happens) in the Rap industry.
