Just run across your video today and I had a potential tip for any of your viewers. I have been doing this same type of divorce manipulation on furniture for a few months now and it really does add a huge level of realism. However in my practice I have found that when you are setting up the simulation settings for the surface if you do not mess with the density but instead set your Dynamic strength. To .75 then you do not have to mess with the simulation settings for gravity or wind

Just came across this crazy idea of creating vacuum machine. What I'd like to do with an object in Daz is to create effect it has been sealed with vacuum. I don't even know how to statt that project, but here's my guess: create a frame around the object and put dforce pane with plenty of divisions on it. Then, put the object into the middle and simulate dforce object. After that, export to blender/zbrush to detail the vacuum effect and re-import. Voila. I'm gonna try that tomorrow

Did not work for me. Is there a way to undo this process and delete the "matress top" surface division? because now every time I load the bed (even a new load), the surface has a huge stain-like selection represented by the "matress top" area (aparently the "Copy Selected Surface(s)" part did not work for me) and the 'stain' appears purple

Not sure off the top of my head. It sounds like you may have saved the changes over the original files. Best thing to do is reinstall the asset

Is the simulation duration, fps etc important with this? I tried it with the gravity you show here but mine rises like a mad loaf of bread and envelops my figure!
