I just wanna say thank you, Daz, because I was a rape victim when I was 6, and I'm now 13, so it's been a major impact. I'm saying thank you because everything that you said encouraged me to push forward and help me understand that it wasn't my fault because I always thought it was my fault but you and other people have shown me that it's not, I am very grateful for your presence in my life and how you help encourage women to stand up, thank you Daz ❤

Hey Daz. I'm a survivor of rape, all sorts of abuse and from that I also perpetrated reactive abuse. I have no shame about my own life. I did let other victims of the same perpetrators down. I justify my past with "I did what I thought to be best with the information I had at the time" But I've always strived to be better. And to DO better, especially for others. You are also a very sympathetic and emotionally intelligent person, and that's why your whole community love you beyond anything. Thank you, from the bottom of all of our hearts, for speaking out against this. And in case I can't finish watching this video for my own safety, I know you'll have disowned this abusive, pathetic person.

My great grandmother told me once, her mom was so scared of leaving her husband in fear of being beaten. When she left, and he finally hit her, she laughed. My great grandma asked her why she was laughing, and she said, "I was terrified, but it wasn't that bad." She left and raised my great grandmother to go into the navy, and a nurse after that for 40 years. She built the family I have today.

It’s never the victims fault although these awful men and women will try and persuade you that it is your fault. What you’ve got to do, my darling, is hold your head up high and look this disgusting person straight in the eyes and that way you’ll be letting him know it wasn’t your fault it was his and carry on walking, head held up high, think of yourself as a giraffe trying to get those juicy leaves at the top of the tree. I wish you luck with your future endeavors remember the best form of revenge is your success and that goes for any women young or old going through the same thing, get revenge by making a success of your life, I hope you are able to, but with a strong support group around you, I bet you’ll make it. Love, hugs end kisses, Gill, Cornwall, UK.

As a girl, watching Daz close to tears, fearing his daughters' safety and women and mens' safety in general really makes me think twice abut the world we live in. We as humans are NOT anyone else's property. we are our own responsibiblty and we should be held accountable for the things we do and not have to justify bad behaviour with blaming another genders, races, sexualities or religions. Respect and kindness for other peoples' bodies, identities and overall being doesn't cost a thing.

I never knew who Tate was until a few days ago. And, when I heard that he said rape victims need to take responsibility for being raped, it hit hard. I’m a teenage boy, and I’ve been raped before. It does damage to someone and it’s something they cannot control. I was overpowered, a lot of people are. Others are manipulated into it, some are threatened into it, there are tons of reasons for this, but we do not and will never need to take responsibility for it.

Daz thank you for this- I’m a single mother to 3 teenage boys. I’m lucky enough to have the kind of relationship with them whereby we can talk about and discuss everything and anything and they are growing up to be well adjusted, respectful young men. One thing we enjoy doing together is watching your videos, and they genuinely listen to and respect you. This is the next video I’m earmarking to watch with them, because although I have no doubt they will grow up to treat women correctly and be nothing but respectful, you’ve literally worded this so impeccably. I was a victim or rape. I had a boyfriend who had gave me an alcoholic beverage little do I know he had spiked my drink with some sort of drug. After the drugs kicked in to my system he dragged me up the stairs. I had no control over my body I couldn’t even lift a limb it was as if the drug had momentarily paralysed me at that moment in time. He told me if I told the police he’d beat me up. He told me if I breathed as much as a word to my friends or family. He would hurt my family starting with my mother. But I was saved. My soon to be husband now an absolute lovely man well at the time I was a victim of rape and torture my soon to be husband now was actually my neighbour he kept hearing loads of banging etc. and eventually was getting more and more concerned he had eventually came round to the house and after hearing me scream for help as my ex partner was beating me. My neighbour had kicked the door off its hinges and tackled my abusive partner to the ground. I’ll never forget the words he said to my abusive partner. “The day you raise your hand to a woman is the day you lose respect to be a man” and my abusive partner was scared for the first time in his life my neighbour shouted those words at him and struck fear in to his heart. He took me to his house he called the police etc. explained everything and my abusive partner was arrested my neighbour then had to go to the station for questioning but was released as they pretty much had all the evidence they needed to put the evil man away. After that I was scared of being alone but my neighbour Lewis had started making me food. Checking up on me to see if I was okay alone etc. and it clicked from there pretty much I’ve never met such a warm hearted man who respects woman so much I knew he was the one for me and so eventually we dated and things got more serious etc and now Lewis is my soon to be husband and we now have a beautiful daughter 9months old currently as this comment reaches the platform. And I couldn’t have asked for a better man and a father to my child. He’s much like you daz he’s always funny and acts like an idiot and he too has the same passion he wants to be a gamer but with the way things are currently money is just hard etc and he’s not sure he will ever get there but he’s not quitting because he’s a fighter and if a miracle happened and he gets the help or an opportunity that a man like him deserves then I know he wouldn’t take it for granted. He’s a blessing just like your a blessing daz and we don’t have many of those men in this world. Thank you for everyone taking the time to listen and read this. I will also throw it out there I’m not trying to promote my husbands KZbin or anything like that but I am on his KZbin account so I’m just putting that out there. 'Be a good human' That is probably the most powerful sentence I've heard today. We as a society need to implement this. **Edit** What i mean by this is Daz makes a good point. This is something everyone should live by no matter what gender, sexuality, religion ect. As societies we've all lost our connection with eachother, become more selfish than selfless. We have become a cynical society and this sentence just shows we need change. We need to connect again, all be who we want, all be equal. 'Be a good human' is just a sentence but it has soo much more meaning behind it then those four words. I'm a guy, I've been told 'just be a man' and stuff like that, it's a toxic sentence and forces upon guys the ideal of having to be strong and protect. The sentence 'Be a good human' feels like a counter act, now you all can think what you want you have a right to opinions just don't spread it as fact. This is my opinion for that matter.

This is awful. At my school, my older friend’s (We’ll call her A) teacher (We’ll call HIM, the teacher, B) went to talk to a group of girls in A’s class. These girls were discussing rape and sexual assault and B out of no where says that if a woman dresses in a certain way, she is inviting the rape. Which is just awful. B has been reported to the school but no further action has been taken as of now. Stay safe from these creeps guys ❤

Hell, my husband adopted my daughter, who I had before we had gotten together and he loves her as if she's his own. He loves her as much as he does our other children. Blood doesn't mean anything if you don't have the capacity to love them unconditionally.

I've been abused for 10 years and I only escaped by a suicide attempt. Im appalled. Well done Daz for speaking out about it and all I love you for that. But women and young girls have been screaming at you tate supporters for months now that this man is seriously dangerous. But all you said was 'common tate W' or some bullshit excuse like 'ah he's just funny to watch' no. I don't care if he's funny to watch you are still watching his content and supporting him. You don't have to buy his products and follow his teachings to be helping him. By viewing his shit you're promoting his videos and content. THE FACT. THE FACT THAT THE ONLY WAY YOU TAKE ABUSE INTO CONSIDERATION IS BY A MAN TELLING YOU IS FUCKED. Again, thank you though Daz. BUT COME ON. I'M SPEAKING FROM EXPERIENCE HERE THAT SHE IS NOT ENJOYING THAT. My own Foster parent laughed when I expressed my views on Andrew and his abusive behaviour and he said that she's clearly enjoying it.
