Ive worked at a daycare and 99% of children do not want to stop playing for their diaper to be changed. They dont understand that if their diaper doesnt get changed after being soiled, theyll get a rash. They dont understand the consequences of not being changed. They would rather play with their toys. I understand asking for consent at a certain age and explaining "you can get sick if we don't" in late diaper days/as a toddler. But infants do not know any better. I bet someone in Oz is gonna see this, their baby will die of an infection, and then they'll have the excuse of "I never got consent to change the nappy! not really, its good to show kids respect like bounderies for coming into their room, like 'ask before going into eachother's room unless nessisarry/important' little things like that iis how to raise a good child, however, its important to teach them about how to keep clean, so telling a 3 year old i do it to keep you clean and healthy is a good thing to do.

If you allow a baby be on his/her nappy all day, that will lead to neglect and then the parent will get arrested and put in prison or jail, for neglect. Then that baby will grow up thinking that their parents are bad people. This woman may be neglected as a baby and that may be the cause of her saying you should ask permission from a baby to change their nappy.
