One of the lessons in life is we must experience the bad days to truly appreciate the good days. Thank goodness there are more good days than bad. I LOVE FM. I wrote out the lyrics to "Beautiful Child" also from SN and put it on paper in nice cursive and burned the edges, it looks really cool. And Silverspring always gets me.

This isn't the first house they lived in after they left Keith Olsen's. The first house was on Primera Drive in the Hollywood Hills near Studio City. It was a small split-level apartment that they shared with engineer Richard Dashut and, for a little while, drummer Gary Hodges. They used the basement there as a rehearsal space and recording studio that they nicknamed "Quality Sound Recorders." After about a year, they moved to the Orange Grove house that's in this video. Dashut had moved out and into this place; they followed him.

Saw Fleetwood Mac back in 2014 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. It was easy to feel the tension between Nicks and Buckingham on stage. They stood on opposite sides of the stage, but still enjoyed the music. I'm so happy that I found your site, keep up the great work, you are awesome-who really cares what others say! i rarely comment on the net. making an exception. as a native californio kid (torrance), i feel compelled to add one right here. i discovered this channel by means that escape me now. what fun. truly. finding myself watching your adventures over coffee pretty much every morn. i once attended a birthday party for s nicks at a home in n malibu. must have been like 80-81 or around there. the closest i ever got to her was several hundred feet, as i was in the garden party area of the property and her vip/relatives were in the main house. she was, however, gracious enough to come out with her mom and thank all those who attended. anyway. thank you for sharing. you are one of the good guys. smile.

Hi Jordan, have you listened to Fleetwood Mac pre Buckingham/Nicks when Peter Green was in the band? Way different. I saw them after Peter left in 1974 at the Fox Theater in Long Beach. It was a big change when Stevie and Lindsey joined the band. But I am still a fan. Thanks for the backstory and sharing this location. 😊

Stevie Nicks is such a great singer she really is. I took my mom to see her at Riverbend in Cincinnati. It was one of the best concerts I ever saw. My favorite Stevie Nicks song is "I Can't Wait" she also did the soundtrack for the movie "Practical Magic" that starred Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman as witch sisters. I never knew that Lindsey Buckingham sung the theme song to National Lampoon's Vacation. Holiday Road . that is awesome Stevie Nicks is a great singer and Fleetwood Mac is a great band

Solid synopsis of the Buckingham/Nicks into Fleetwood Mac history. Mick Fleetwood "found" BUckingham/Nicks when he was considering using the SOund City Studio for Fleetwood MAc's next album, and producer Ken Caillat, father of Colbie Caillat, offered samples from Buckingham/Nicks. I'd love to see Stevie's current house....the one she's owned for @15 or so years. Saw parts of it on the Dave Stewart/eurthymics produced documentary IN YOUR DREAMS....seems to have several levels...and is on a hill.

I saw the documentary "Destiny Rules" and after the decision was made to make "Say You Will" a single disc instead of a double disc album, it seemed that in the end, Lindsey agreed with the decision because it meant longer touring dates(?) and time away from his family. Maybe he was just playing it up for the cameras based on your story on how he REALLY felt. I even read that back when they were living together, Stevie said that Lindsey didn't want to "sell out" and play gigs at the restaurant for $500 even though they really needed the money.

I loved your vlog Jordan! Not seeing the house, was not as important as the story that you told about them! I loved their music and never knew when; they got started in L.A.! Stevie, must have been exhausted, on a dailey basis; while waiting for their big break! I had heard about some of their jam sessions. They were amazing!
