You make every vlog interesting. I have lived in WV most of my life. I was very young when the silver bridge clasped. If I recall correctly it was during the month of December. Many Christmas shoppers on the bridge that day. A very heart breaking event. I hadn't heard of The Moth Man until I was much older. One thing for sure there are a lot of mysteries in this universe. I find it interesting. Thank you for sharing.

I lived in Ashland Ky. for a while which is right at the meeting point of Ky, Ohio, and West Virginia. I met someone from W.V. that said he had had personal experiences that could not be explained. Something in the woods, flying overhead with big red glowing eyes, following , flying above, as he ran away from it completely terrified. This vivid story came from one of the most dependable and level headed people I've met. He never exaggerated any story, in fact, most of his stories were pretty bland and full of details. I could tell for sure that what he was saying to me absolutely happened, and recounting it left a spooked and frightened look in his face and his demeanor seemed to change for the rest of the night.

West Virginia has the nicest highways of any state. They had a Senator who was majority leader for many years & always secured massive highway funds. The Mothman is real & he means you no harm. Respect him & he will respect you.

Hi Jordan, well, what an ornate statue outside the Museum. The statue reminded me of the creature from the horror films 'Jeepers Creepers'. Nice to see some original movie props from 'The Mothman Prophecies'. A very nice view of the bridge at the end. Great vlog Jordan.

LOL, I lived in Kittanning Pa when I was younger, now in Pittsburgh. I was an extra in Mothman Prophecy. Met Richard Gere, and actually had or almost had an accident while filming, which Richard Gere witnessed and acknowledged to me right after. It was pretty fun after the fact. They used the Kittanning Pa bridge because it resembled the bridge in W.Va at the time. I'm just sad the movie didn't turn out as Mark Pennington, who btw, was a really nice guy to chat with during takes, had expected it too. It seems as though they cut too much from the movie and left people just wondering I think. All in all, it turned out to be a fun experience.

Interesting that Robert Kennedy had sent a letter, I believe that in order to quell mass hysteria in the area was to deny the existence of any Manned spacecraft. Because of the times; culpable deniability was a thing that the government did, take Roswell for instance or possibly area 51. The mere fact they made a movie with big stars is pretty wild. I have heard of the chupacabra in Mexico and it was supposed to have some resemblance too. Nice Vlog Jordan

Who knows, when people have given so many statements of seeing this red eyed creature, not all can be nutters, so in my mind who knows I’m neutral, really enjoyed seeing the museum, some of the images of this red eyed winged creature, you wouldn’t want to meet in person, you were right had quite a six pack on him obviously works out 😁, thankyou for this mysterious vlog Jordan x 👍🏻

It really depends on who you ask on if the Mothman caused the accident or was just warning the town of something major. Most people I have talked to say he was warning them. I live in Southern Wv. I have yet to make it to the Mothman Festival. We were going to go this year, but it has now been canceled. So my fingers are crossed for next year. You and your Step Dad should come then too. I'm sure he would love it!

You should also Visit right next door in Virginia, The Homestead Resort from 1766, and the Jefferson Pools where Thomas jefferson came to relax in the mineral waters that supposedly had restorative and healing properties, both located in in Bath County, Virginia. Monticello,Thomas Jefferson's home in Albemarle County near Charlottesville, Virginia and Mount Vernon, George Washington's home near Washington, DC, the amazing Arlington National Cemetery and Jamestown, the first permanent English settlement in the New World. Many people would really enjoy seeing these historic places.

If you can locate a copy, there’s an outstanding documentary on DVD called “Eyes of the Mothman” that goes into great detail. I must’ve watched it ten times over the years. Everything from the actual sightings to the collapse of the Silver Bridge. Amazon or a used DVD/record store might be your best bet. Trust me, it’s VERY worthwhile and I’m sure you’ll be as fascinated as I was…and I just checked: it IS on Amazon!
