After Hearn breaks up the intense stare contest (which Usyk won) @ 22:32 , Usyk turns to face the photographers leaving AJ turned unsurely sideways where he stays a while... The point being Usyk has AJ following him & is always a move ahead... Usyk's psychology here is spot on! His walk off stage after re-sheathing his imaginary sword was telling as Usyk allowed himself a knowing, cheeky, smile! This ability to switch mindsets (super intense to being lighthearted) quickly demonstrates a high level of emotional stability. Not having much in the way of anxious or depressive thoughts frees up a lot of energy that can be redirected to cognition & motor skills... This seems to be the secret that allows him to be a master in anticipation which he uses in & out of the ring to great effect.

AJ is under Usyk's spell... 🤪 If I were AJ I'd bulk up to just under 18st forget being technical, cut him off, back him up & land heavy, shots... Aside from providing more protection there's something about being big & strong that obsessed conditioning freaks never factor in & thats its affect on serotonin levels especially when facing smaller opponents... This is what happened in 2019 with the AJ vs Ruiz 2 and as soon as AJ won that rematch everyone loved him again in a really fake snakey way but as soon as he loses for the second time against Usyk.. The hate came back again.. I hope Anthony Joshua wins I believe he can but if he doesn’t it is what it is the end of the day it’s boxing you win/lose/draw end of the day he is still a great fighter and a great boxer and has done so much for his country and Usyk is a great fighter/boxer as well so I don’t know why we can’t respect both fighters? Forget the points system - he can only win by stoppage and needs to fight that way from the opening bell.
